I ordered these Men's Sparkle Loafers Driving Shoes for Party Wedding Party Prom for my teenage son.My son loves midcentury menswear; he’s the only teenage boy I know who owns several tuxedos, and he finds plenty of occasions to get dressed up. He has a great vintage gold and black brocade dinner jacket, and I thought these gold toned loafers would complement the look. They look great with his gold and black jacket and plain black tuxedo pants as well as with his regular black tuxedo and some of his other vintage looks.These loafers are made from a sparkly gold toned fabric; the sparkle is part of the shoe upper, not just sewn-on sequins. The shoes have golden hardware over the instep that looks a bit like a snaffle bit. The soles are a stiff black rubber that softens with each wearing—if you’re buying these for a prom, I’d practice dancing in them a few times before the big night. My son found these comfortable, but they need a bit of breaking in.I ordered these in a size 10.5; my son usually wears a size 10, but he also usually wears a wide. Since these didn’t have the option of a wide size, I ordered him shoes a half size larger. This worked pretty well; he found the 10.5 fit pretty well in terms of width. If you have a wide foot, maybe consider ordering up a half size.These shoes are a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a sparkly, stand out accessory for a special occasion, these gold, shiny loafers do the trick. They have a bit of old school Hollywood over the top flair; they also look a bit like the loafers Michael Jackson danced in back in the 80s. The gold loafers have a vintage flair; these are also available in silver and black.At the current price ($40.99) these are fairly inexpensive for a formal shoe. The loafers are fairly sturdy; these aren’t a single use shoe that won’t last the night. My son said the soles are good for dancing; smooth enough for spins and slides, but not slippery. They have golden insoles, and the soles are red on the bottom, with an ornate, sort of coat of arms design.My son got these for dress occasions and dancing, but you could also wear these loafers with a pair of jeans for a more casual, still sparkly look.Fun for prom, costumes, or any time you want a flashy pair of dancing shoes.

These are AWFUL
WAY too narrow, not REMOTELY true to size because of how narrow these are but also they're about half an inch short in length. Worse, they're so absurdly rigid that it feels like you're gonna shear the skin right off your foot just trying to get the shoe on, they are absolutely positively NOT "slip on".I literally can't wear them, I physically can't use them at all for anything other than being a pretty little prop for my videos.
