The comfort of being barefoot is a quick adjustment. Well make with a stylish appearance.
I’m used to having shoes with an elevated heel and arch support, so I expected walking in these would take some getting used to. In fact, I also spend plenty of time walking barefoot or in socks only, so there wasn’t much to adapt to other than the comfort of being barefoot with shoes on. I did notice a few things: The soles are soft and comfortable…on even surfaces. If it’s a gravel surface or path with loose stones or other protrusions, they are not. Without an arch support, walking on an inclined and descending park trail seemed to allow more forward and backward movement of my foot inside the shoe. Not a huge issue, but with toes more sensitive than my heel it was nice returning to a level surface. Without an elevated heel, the angle of my foot/ankle became more acute on an incline, and more reflex when declining. The difference was subtle but caught my attention. I’m all in on the wide toe box. It seems like an option that should be more widely available for all shoes. It will take a lot more walking before I am more meaningfully conversant with the benefits or physics of barefoot shoes, but there is much to like about these from HOBIBEAR. The materials have the look of high quality, and the styling is attractive and contemporary—outwardly indistinguishable from less purposed footwear of similar design.

Sizing Incorrect
Nope. I like to hike and on occasion, run trails so I figured these would be perfect according to the description. Frankly, I couldn't keep these on for a minute. They run small. Very small. I wear a size 9.5 which I ordered, and they were exceptionally tight in the toe area. Completely unwearable. Because of that, I can't really comment on the durability or cushioning since I didn't get to take them out. Too bad, I thought these would be good for my use. They look good though.2 stars from me.

Well made minimalist shoes but tighter than expected
These shoes feel a bit tight in my normal size, and I am hoping they loosen up with more wear. The build quality seems pretty good and everything looks consistent. I know they are meant to be minimalist, but it is still strange to feel every rock and crack underfoot, and there is not much support. If you want even a small amount of extra cushion, you may want to size up because they feel tight vertically too. Overall, they are decent minimalist shoes with a solid build.

No complaints
I got these for a neutral, casual option, without much concern for feel. All the same, they are reasonably comfortable despite the thin and basic sole. The fit is pretty good. I ordered a size 11, usually wearing 10.5-11. I feel the end of the show with my toes a little, but since I don’t anticipate any serious movement in these, it shouldn’t be a problem. I like how they look and the way that they can be versatile for various outfits and settings. The quality of manufacture looks pretty good, with no obvious errors. I’ve seen much worse in shoes that cost three times these. I’m pleased.

Sized for Hobbits
I was excited when given the opportunity to review this pair of men’s hiking shoes. I like having a wider area for my toes, so I was hopeful these would work.Unfortunately, they were a huge disappointment. While the construction and quality are solid, the sizing on the product page is way off. I wear a men’s size 11 in nearly every pair of shoes, so I ordered the 11. The moment I pulled them out of the box, I knew they wouldn’t work.I tried them on anyway. My toes hit the very end of the toe box—zero wiggle room. The inside label says size 43, which is a European size. If you check a conversion chart, 43 equals about a US 9½ or 10 at best. No wonder they didn’t fit.I walked around the house briefly and did appreciate the flat footbed. These could have been excellent hiking shoes for the amount of hiking I do each year. But the sizing issue makes them a non‑starter.Other notes worth mentioning:* The outsole grip looked promising—good traction for trails.* The stitching and materials felt durable, so the build quality isn’t the problem.* The toe box design is great.* At the time of this review, the product listing didn’t specify the EU sizing, as only American sizes were on offer, which would have saved me the trouble. If you’re an avid hiker, keep looking. If you’re a casual hiker like me, check a size conversion chart and size up—but even then, I’d be cautious. This is a do not buy recommendation.

Comfortable and nice looking
I have several pairs of these shoes and absolutely love them. Wore them a few days at a theme park with no issues. They are very comfortable and I like the fact i can slip them off easy to rest my feet if needed.
