Comfortable and cute
Cute and comfy shoes. I've never had "barefoot" shoes, and I'm still not sure I have a pair... but I like these a lot. They don't feel like I'm walking barefoot - it's more like wearing a pair of extremely lightweight Vans sneakers. The soles are very slightly raised at the heel, but less than most sneakers. The fit is really roomy in the entire front box of the shoe, without feeling loose in any way. I am an 8, and these fit perfectly. The soles are also as wide as the shoe, so they're very stable (and another reason why they remind me of skateboarding shoes), and have a minimal non-slip tread. The color in my pictures came out pale, they're definitely more like the listing with a coffee-with-extra-cream color. They go well with a lot of my clothes, and I've even worn them with skirts and they looked really good because of the color. Now, the listing said these are leather, but I don't know what *kind* of leather. Are they animal leather? Vegetable protein leather? Vegan leather aka plastic? There's no tag inside the shoe explaining the materials, like most even half decent shoes do. They had a strong plastic-y/rubber smell when I opened the box, which faded in a short while. They look like they *could* be a very cheap animal leather, although the way they're starting to wrinkle ever so slightly at the toe crease makes me wonder. They're also super easy to wipe clean, but new leather is also easy to clean. They seem a bit water repellent, which is the final thing that makes me think they aren't animal leather. Do with that info what you will; I like the shoes either way, although I'd really like to know for sure. All in all, I'm very happy with these and I hope they last me a long time. I've already decided they're the most comfy shoes I've had in a long time, and they rate juuuuust a teensy bit higher than my Sketchers GoWalks. I'm shocked! And they're less expensive than my Sketchers, too.

Not Very Barefoot-Heavy,Thick,Stiff,Uncomfortable
I ordered the black Hobibear barefoot shoes in the womens 9 wide and they do run a little big. I am usually a size 8.5 to 9 in most shoes. According to their size chart I actually was supposed to get a 9.5 but glad I didn't because the 9's are bit too big. An 8.5 would of probably worked but they don't carry that size.I wear mostly only barefoot shoes and these do not seem much like barefoot shoes to me. The only thing barefoot about them is the wide toe box. They do look flat on the bottom however they still feel like they are elevating my heel a bit and they have a decent amount of cushioning in them, barefoot should be pretty level with little to no cushioning. These also do not have thin flexible soles, they are thick and stiff. The whole shoe looks and feels bulky and they are heavy. They feel more like boots rather than lightweight barefoot shoes.I don't know maybe barefoot shoes don't always have to be thin, flexible, flat and lightweight to be considered barefoot. Those are just characteristics that I have come to love in all my barefoot footwear. Even if these were the proper fit I wouldn't wear them because they are too uncomfortable and cumbersome.

I got the white shoes with red and blue stripes as a gift. My feet pronate (turn in at the ankle) These are my new favorite shoes!!! I ordered these sneakers for hiking and going on long walks in my neighborhood. I have tried many different types of sneakers from very comfortable, to not so comfortable. I wanted something that does not squeeze my toes because I work in an office and wear a lot of still those shoes that squeeze the front of my foot. These shoes are more ergonomic and allow your toes to spread out like they are supposed to.They are extremely comfortable due to the fact that they allow for proper spreading of your toes in the front of the shoe. They seem to be a very good quality, and look extremely durable and well-made.I’m a size 10, and they are true to size, they show me great.The only thing that will take some getting used to is the size of the front of the shoe. When I look down, I’m not accustomed to seeing such a large shoe so it’s a little bit strange booking. However, this is not that important because it doesn’t matter what they look like. I ordered them because I needed something comfortable for walking.

Really comfortable and good looking shoes.
I love The Wider toe box in these shoes. They give my toes the freedom to flex and to move and not be constrained like other shoes. These shoes are stitched together really well and the souls are attached well also. They look great. I got the white and gray and I love them. The grip on the rubber Soles is nice. The insole, at least thus far, it's super comfortable.
