HOBIBEAR: My Latest Love! ❤️
I’m not a newcomer to barefoot shoes, yet was searching for a new pair to replace an outgoing pair I’d recently purchased yet disliked. Enter: HOBIBEAR. I discovered this pair while searching and it was love at first sight. But, how would they fit?I was fretting because some reviews said the shoes ran smaller in size. I wear a size 10.5 in a wide width, yet couldn’t fathom ordering a size 10. So…I pulled the trigger on a size 11 and anxiously hoped for the best upon delivery. I needn’t have worried. Perfect sizing, these!I immediately tried them on with removable insoles left intact, and while wearing no-show socks. They felt wonderful. But for me, the whole point is to have that true barefoot experience sans socks and removable insoles. Having removed both, I began to have the walking experience I craved most. The muscles in my feet and lower legs immediately synced, encouraging me to use them and to have a more natural, upright gait as I walked about. Toe box room was plentiful as I’d come to expect. My toes splayed; my feet breathed without the sock barrier (socks can prove constrictive, too); and the smile on my face spoke volumes at how amazing I felt. At the end of the day, I didn’t even want to look at my over-cushioned Nike running shoes, much less wear them!These are top notch as well with respect to comfort, fit/finish and quality of materials and design, in my humble opinion.If you’re new to the barefoot shoe lifestyle, I’d strongly encourage you to check out HOBIBEAR’s offerings first. I must further add that, at their price points, you’ll save a great deal of money over many of their overpriced competitors…yet sacrifice nothing in the process. I’m so grateful to have these and believe you’ll be happy, too. I’m already contemplating my next purchase. 🤗
