I love the Hoka, Gaviota 4 series, as apposed to the 5 series and Bondi 9. This is my second pair of the Gaviota 4. They are extremely comfortable, provides great foot support and walking stability. These sneakers were recommended by my orthopedist to provide support with my knee and ankle issues. I'm So glad I could still get this Hoka series again.
This is Hands Down the best pair of sneakers I have Ever owned. Style, Colors, Fit and Superior Comfort. I was struggling with foot pain, sharp n shooting heel pain, it hurt to walk sometimes. My podiatrist recommended and I'm walking like I'm on clouds. Just bought a second pair in black because I don't want my multicolor one to get dirty. I did order 1 size up after trying my regular size and then a half size up. Best decision. Enjoy!
Great show and very comfortable
I waited a year for this review - Hokas are great don't get me wrong. They are comfy and great on my feet, but there are cheaper options now.I walk about 16k a day and dont even wear them for all of it. Bottom wore in about a year and have some tears. I actually glued the bottoms back together and havnt on the off brand.I have other shoes (The TikTok Hokas) and have had them for a year. The "comfort level goes down quicker, but they held up better! For $50 Instead of $150, for me, it's a no brainer. Try different brands.
These shoes are so comfortable! The arch support is outstanding and the cushioning in the bottom is like walking on a cloud! I have very flat feet and must have a shoe with very good arch support. The shoe surpasses all my expectations. I have been wearing them for years and bought multiple pairs. I highly recommend if you have the need for a strong arch support and want a comfortable shoe.
Use these everyday for running. No more pain in feet. Well worth the price.
I have owned plenty of HOKA's after switching from ACIS's a few years back. I walk 20-30k steps on average per day between outside and the gym. The difference between HOKA and other shoes has saved my knees and it is a noticeable difference.That being said, this last pair of HOKA's I have worn around 3 months. The glue on the bottom of the shoes was weak or bad, and all of the tread is flapping from the front to the back. This has never happened with other HOKA shoes that I have purchased, whether on Amazon or locally.While I do like the color scheme and how this shoe has performed otherwise, the tread peeling off after only a few months raises a concern that I will encounter this again in the future. It is not like HOKA's are a cheap or inexpensive shoe and for the money, I expect much better.I only wear shoes around 4-6 months and then switch them out. With the amount of activity I am doing, normally the tread wears down fairly quick so that can be problematic if you wear old worn out shoes on your feet/knees/hips/ankles.
