The comfort factor was the first thing I noticed when I slipped them on. The cushioning is fantastic! It feels like walking on clouds, but they’re not so soft that you lose that nice springy feel when you run. My feet didn't ache, even after a long run, which is a huge win in my book!Certainly, they are a little bit pricey, but I can’t wait to log more miles in them!
My husband has not stopped raving about these shoes. He is an avid gym goer. He typically goes to the gym daily for a minimum of 1.5 hours. He has tried several different running shoes over the years and nothing has compared to the Hoka. Although he majorly weight lifts - he does incorporate 20-30 minutes of cardio per day and often a 45-60 minute session once per week. These shoes provide comfort, support, and style. He has consistently had knee and ankle pain when running on the treadmill or streets. The Hoka shoe has helped reduce these aches and pains dramatically. He is so impressed with them - I will be purchasing a pair as well!
This is my 3rd pair of Hoka's and they've become the only shows I wear for working out. These are lighter and a little less cushion then my Bondi's so they're better for running than walking. For me the fit has always been spot on, maybe a touch small but not enough that I have to size up. If you aren't sure about Hoka's just go for it, they are the first shoe I've worn that genuinely felt like it made walking easier and I think that's due to the comfort more than anything.
A lot of my friends are wearing various Hokas these days so I thought I would give them a try after literally decades of wearing only another brand. I was amazed at how lightweight and comfortable these shoes are! I need lots of cushion because of a past history of heel spurs (which I would like to stay a past history, lol) and these are doing the trick. I love the colors as well. The true test will be to see how they hold up in six months since I'm no lightweight and I also tend to wear the same shoes day in and day out. But I have to say I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
I wish I would have gone a half size larger. They are sized correctly but my toe is at the limit. Borderline as to having returned them and resized. It’s always super convenient to return stuff but still a pain. My next pair will be a little bigger. Shoes are wonderful. They make me jump higher and run faster!
I work in a very busy OR and average about 20,000 steps a day. When I work Sketchers, my feet sweat and ached after a long day. These Hoka shoes provide thick comfort. I have noticed, many of our surgeons, nurses and techs wear Hoka shoes. I am a positive result of wearing these shoes.
These are excellent shoes. I was blown away when I picked it up how light it was. Good for walking or running. This color is amazing too. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on them. My mother introduced me to HOKA and I had never heard of them I researched it found out they are very popular And I bought these. Expensive but worth the extra price. Very happy.
