I am happy with the HOMEHOT Boys Dress Shoes Oxford Slip on Loafers Formal Shoes(Toddler/littile Kids/Big Kids).My grandsons always dress up for church and always wear dress shoes then. There are five of them, so it seems like I'm always buying them shoes! I've tried a number of different brands and designs, and these are one of the best. I love that the shoe strings are more for decoration than holding the shoe on. The younger boys are just learning to tie their shoes so they are at that age when they won't let an adult help them, but they take a long time to do it themselves, and the clumsily tied bow falls apart a few steps later. These shoes are slip-ons. The "shoe laces" are elastic and they are permanent.I don't know what the product listing means by a delicate metal decoration on the top. I didn't see anything. The listing must be copied from another pair of shoes. These are plain, simple dress shoes. They are a little narrow, which is great for my grandsons who have narrow feet. If your son has a wider foot, it is mentioned that you might want to order one size up.I can't mention how well these shoes last, as we just got them a bit ago. But if they don't last well, I'll update my review. They look solidly made and I don't anticipate any problems.In the photo, the boy wearing a hat is modeling the dress shoes. You can't really see the shoe, but the boy is smiling. So the shoes don't pinch his feet or he would never smile.

These shoes are perfect for more formal occasions. The shape is nice, no trendy boxy toe or anything like that. The soles are rubber and have texture on the bottom for anti-slip. These are PU leather, but they still look nice. The size is true to size. The one downside, which others have mentioned, is that they are very stiff so if these are for a specific event, might need to break them in first. Overall, the quality seems good.

Great shoes at an amazing value
These are great shoes for the kiddos- good-looking faux leather with look-alike laces. My 7-year-old says "they're very comfortable," which seems a little unexpected since they don't look like they have a ton of support. It's a low-profile shoe—not adding much height, but I'll take it. For just $33 these are a really good value. It's great for nicer clothes but don't work at all with shorts and a T-shirt.
