Solid Hiking Boots, but My Feet Needed a Breather
I’ll start with the good news: these boots are comfortable. Straight out of the box, they fit like they were made for my feet—no blisters, no weird pressure points, just solid support and cushioning that make long hikes feel easy. The traction is great too; they’ve handled dirt trails, wet rocks, and gravel without slipping once. They also feel tough and well-made, like they’ll hold up for many miles.Now for the downside—these boots claim to be “breathable,” but after a couple of warm hikes, my feet would like to respectfully disagree. They run a bit hot, especially in warmer weather or longer treks.Also, the flat laces look sleek but don’t play nice with the upper lace hooks. Getting them tied securely takes a little patience, and they don’t slide through as smoothly as round ones would.All in all, they’re excellent boots for cooler weather or shorter hikes where ventilation isn’t a big deal. If breathability were better (and the laces a touch easier to manage), they’d be a perfect five-star pick.
