Magic Boots
I have huge, Sasquatch-like feet: long and wide and was also blessed with large calves. I never thought I would be able to find a proper pair of wellies to keep my feet dry, but these boots are amazing. They fit my wide feet and the adjustable back make it easy for people with wider calves to get them on easy and without looking like a sausage. There is even room to cinch the top. I have worn them kicking through some significant water and city muck and my feet stayed dry and comfortable. I never thought I would get excited over a pair of boots, but here we are. These boots are perfection.

Worth. Every. Penny.
This is my second time writing an amazon review, and I feel these boots are so amazing I must let others know how worth it it is. I debated on buying these for two weeks- I had them on my wishlist and kept going back periodically to read reviews. I weigh 255 and have very large big / muscular calves, short stubby legs, virtually no arch in my foot, and ridiculously flat / wide feet. I have never just ordered shoes online or gone in a store to buy shoes. I usually am forced to order shoes out of a plus size catalog and order “wide” sizes. However, these shoes fit like a second pair of skin. They are so comfortable I could sleep in them. There’s plenty of room for my calves + boot socks. They look adorable with every outfit I’ve tried so far too. I have no cartilage in my toes and finding shoes that don’t hurt my feet is nearly impossible, but I finally found them just in time for cold and wet weather. Normally I suffer through the winters and let my feet get wet / freezing from rain and snow. Not this winter. Worth every penny. I’m so happy I bought these. True to size!!

Very comfortable boots
Love these boots. I have wider calves and am on the shorter side. I’ve been looking for a short boot that will work with my legs. These work perfectly. The adjustable back works great and allows for a loose feeling calf while working with the curve of my leg that starts lower due to being short. For comparison, the Hunter short boots without the adjustable back will fit on me but are extremely tight at the top and slightly pushed down. With these they slide on well and are not tight. The foot is snug so you do have to stomp into them. They feel secure on and have a little weight to them but not too bad.

great for big calves
I'm always nervous about rain boots because I have such large calves and they always fit way too tight on my leg. But because these are just a bit short (hit about mid-shin), and they have the expander in the back, there is plenty of room for my large calves. I actually have the expander pretty tight and there is still a finger width or two between around the top of the boot, so it's not too tight, I can tuck my jeans or thick pants in and still be comfortable. Highly recommend!

Quick and nice
I originally bought a size 7 from Nordstorm for the same price but fit perfect with no room for a second pair of socks to be worn with so I ordered from Amazon and bought another pair to compare (size 8). I currently wear a size 7 1/2 and read reviews to size down. I ended up returning the size 8 because my feet were swimming in them and flopping in and out ver easily. I really like theses boots. After the first day of wearing my size 7 boots, I got use to them and I wear them when it’s cold or when I want them to go with my winter outfit. I also bought the Hunter boot short socks which keep my feet warm outside of my regular socks that I both put on when it’s freezing out. The boots (from Amazon) came with the Authenticity original boot card in the original box which the Nordstrom pair didn't(card). I recommend these boots and this seller. Came in super quick and refunded money back quick as well(as the size 8 didn't fit).

2-year lifespan with light use, apparently.
Love these boots; the fit is perfect for a normal person. But 2 years later with irregular light (recreational) use, they began peeling a cellophane-like top layer. I don’t want to release whatever that is into the environment, so I have to re-proof/coat them somehow. Not cool given how pricey they are.
