I have a high instep. Getting most boots on and off is difficult. These are easy. Durable for garden work in tall grasses, bushes and wet areas. Protects against bugs ticks etc., but not too tall to be cumbersome. Run large but I intend to add thick socks in winter to add warmth. In warmer months I added an insole so they work fine without socks. Classic Hunter look. Glad I finally invested in these.
Love this boot. Other reviews said to order down in size. I ordered a 7 instead of an 8 and it’s still a bit big. Socks are a must but heavier socks would be better to make them fit. I have wide feet so I’m thrilled they’re not too small that way. Great for tough outdoor work.
After wearing these boos less than 10 times they have started to peel and fade. Terrible quality for any price!
Easy on and off, fabric lined so socks can be optional. They run very large. I sized down a size and they’re still roomy.
I ordered my boots as they touted great traction, arch support and a large enough calf circumference large enough to fit my calf. Though it met my initial requests I found in practical application that the boot is not only sloppy on the foot when walking due to the over flexibility of boot last, shank, and foot box largesss. Stay forewarned. Not meant as a working boot.
I love sliding these on and taking care of my chickens. Very easy and functional.
Liked the boot style & color but altho I ordered 1/2 size larger to compensate for easy on & off & socks, still at least another full size too big.
