Great quality and style – but watch out for the zipper

I bought these boots from ICHIGO in size 7.5 and they fit perfectly true to size and very comfortable once broken in. The design is super versatile; you can wear them with dresses, pants, jeans, or even shorts, and they always look great.The material feels very high quality and durable, but it’s a bit stiff at first. I strongly recommend wearing long socks, especially during the first few wears. Otherwise, the side zipper might rub against the side of your leg and cause some irritation. The back of the ankle can also feel a bit rough without proper socks.After a few wears, they start to soften and become much more comfortable. I also love the side zipper, which makes them easy to put on without having to constantly tie and untie the laces.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. These boots are stylish, sturdy, and practical just make sure to wear the right socks to avoid any discomfort in the beginning.

Cute and super comfortable! But squeaky

First off, 3 times out of 4, I have fit issues with shoes. The ball of my foot is wide so I need a roomy toe box. The rest of my feet are narrow and I have super high arches. Most shoes will either 1) pinch my toes, 2) fit perfectly except that they’re slightly too short so my toes will hit the front of the shoe, 3) be constricting at the instep— active pressure on/squeezing the top of my foot, and 4) the back of the shoe will eat my achilles tendon and/or ankles to the point blood is dripping— gross, I know. All of the aforementioned issues makes it seem like I’m buying shoes that are too small BUT the very next size up is always too large and I’m falling out of them.Usually I settle for an 8.5 in shoes and just deal with my toes being pinched inward, as the next size up tends to be so large at the heel that I’m slipping out when I walk.I ordered a 9 in these and they fit PERFECTLY. My toes have wiggle room, my pinky toes are not smooshed inward, there’s no pressure on the top of my foot, my heels are secure but not choked (they’re not lifting up as I walk), and there’s no achilles/ankle friction.They’re super cute and despite having toe room, they do not look like clown shoes.I love that they have zippers on the inside so I don’t have to tie them to put them on.The only issue is that they’re really squeaky. The squeaks happen from the tongue rubbing against the outer, laced part. I love everything else about these boots so I’m keeping them.I’ve been wearing them around the house to break them in (still super comfy a few hours in), so hopefully it’ll diminish the squeaking.

Cute but Annoying

I was very excited about getting these boots because they were cute! I've had my boots for a little over a year now and I have to admit the squeaking never ends. So, Beware. They scuff really, really easily and I'm always getting some new scuffs when I go out. I don't wear them too much because of the noise and the scuffing. I like the height that the boots give. I'm 5'3" and they give me a couple more inches which is fun.I will say the inside of the boot, which I've just realized, is coming apart just a bit in both. It's peeling so I'm unsure how long it'll take for it to completely come off.Overall, I would say that minus the squeaking and scuffing, these were pretty good boots. The height helps me reach slightly higher things and they're not too uncomfortable though I haven't worn them for long periods of time so I can't say for sure how great the soles are. Also, my cat really liked sharpening her nails in the toe area, so I had to put them up. If you have a destructive cat too, I would probably advise watching them around your feline.
