Very light and versatile
As other reviews stated, these do run very small. I wear 11’s in most and had to go one full size up to 12 just to fit properly (and there’s even not much toe room after the full size up!). Overall, only worn one full week out on an outdoor range on 9hr. training days but I’ll have to update for an extended review. These were purchased to be used for tactical law enforcement trainings and/or operations.Pros: very light; agile; sneaker like feel but with ankle support; mid-high ankle support is padded well; outer-soles have the classic Inov 8 robust quality; soles are super grippy; soles grippy on mildly wet surfaces; gortex material outside for low end wet weather protection.Cons: not a wide toe box area; runs super small; more affordable than other similar tactical type mid high boots; in-soles are slightly flat & stiff for my preferences (I’m replacing the in-soles soon); slightly stiff feel on pavement (probably due to the almost indestructible outer soles).I’ve had two (2) pairs on Inov 8 shoes over the span of the last 10 years only used for specific workouts and in water (ocean) based tactical training. In my opinion based on the longevity of those shoes…Inov 8 produces high quality outer soles than can take a beating. But, if the outer upper shoe materials scrape anything they can fray more easily than other quality brands.
