Poor Fit / Not Waterproof To The Top

A previous version of tall waterproof snake boots from Irish Setter, VaprTrek, were the most comfortable boots I've ever hade on my big feet, but the waterproofing was a lie, tried 2 pairs and finally gave up and was provided with a refund, Irish Setter was good on that point. I was hoping that the Terrain would have corrected the waterproofing issue and technically they may well have but because of a 6" cutout on both sides of the tongue the 17" boot can only be waterproof to 11", it makes no sense, but that's what they did. Also, the VaprTrek size 13W fit was excellent, the Terrain in a 13W is a struggle to get into and painfully tight. So back it goes, and back into rubber boots go my feet. It seems no one can make a Gore-Tex waterproof tall snake boot.
