Above expectations

Ive had them for a couple weeks now and they are preforming better than my expectations. The soles, while protecting my feet , still allow me to " feel" what im walking on which if you're a hunter like me is important so as to not spook game breaking sticks and crunching debris underfoot . They are also 100percent waterproof ( so far) .I sat in a 30 minute downpour completely soaking me and everything to the bone. Even after walking 1/4 mile through rain laiden pasture my feet were completely dry. My only issue at thus point is that I didnt buy a second pair.

Best hunting boots I’ve had!

The most comfortable hunting boots I’ve had yet. I bought these for a spring bear hunt in the mountains of Idaho and wanted to break them in before hand. From the first time I put them on, they felt already broken in and have only gotten better. They are very sturdy and waterproof. I’ve worn them all day several times with nothing but comfort.

Decent boot, not for all uses.

For the price, a decent boot. They are lightweight like sneakers, the insulation works well, and they are very waterproof.However, these are not the boots to get if you put a lot of miles in the mountains. I live and hunt in the Appalachian mountains, so I’m frequently putting several miles at a time, way off trails. The structure in the foot bed is minimal, adding to foot fatigue, and making long sits on my saddle platform pretty uncomfortable. I usually hunt in logger boots, given the steep slopes and varying terrains, so in comparison: the traction in the Vaprtreks is pretty horrendous.If you mainly stick to trails and or minor elevation changes, these will suit your needs very well. I gave them a try, attempting to find a lighter, more technical option than my logger boots. Given my needs and the demands of the areas I hunt, I will be switching back to my logger boots until I find something better.
