Comfortable and great fit to your foot
I purchased these slippers about one month ago. I am very glad I read the reviews so I knew to order a larger size. I wear an 8 and I ordered an 8.5-9. They fit perfectly. I have only worn them a handful of times because I live in Florida and Winter is definitely over. So far, I am very pleased. I like the design. I am glad I chose black as they do not show dirt. I love that they have a sturdy sole so I do not have to put on shoes to go outside. They are extremely comfortable and very warm. As for long term durability, I can not say at this time. However, I purchased these to replace a VERY expensive pair of sheepskin slippers that lasted only 1 1/2 Winters. I believe I got the Isotoner slippers at a very reasonable price so if they last one Winter, I will have gotten my money's worth. I highly recommend them.
I have bought this style now for over 15 years! Super comfortable and one pair lasts a long time. They machine wash great but dry on low or air dry if you don't want them to get scrunched up. I usually buy two pairs of these at a time on Amazon so I have an extra pair when the current one needs to be replaced. Terry cloth is thick and very soft. Cushion on the sole is enough for comfort but doesn't have arch support for wearing them outside. I have never worn a hole out on the bottom, usually the terry cloth ends up ripping on the side or I wear the back seam down where the heel is. Can't go wrong with these!
These shoes, as with most Isotoners, are seriously comfortable. These are also an attractive shoe, and can be worn in situations outside o f the privacy of your home. In my case a hospital visit is planned, I wanted something that would look nice, but still provide good traction on those slippery hospital floor, during the time in the hospital. These have a sole that is adequate both for indoor use, and limited outdoor use, such as getting the mail, or sitting on the front porch with a friend. This is an attractive shoe, I find the satin-appearing band across the top to be quite fashionable. The sole is very well- padded, particularly in the heel area. This is a clog-type style, and the grip provided by the specially padded heel is very well thght out. I recommend the shoes, and as they are Isotoners, I feel certain that both their quality and longevity will be great. I have worn Isotoners for most of my life, and never had any issues. The reason for the missing star is that my arches are quite high, and the satin band causes a slight feeling of restriction across the top of my foot. However, even after minimal wearing' that has begun to loosen, and I feel comfortable with keeping this pair of Isotoners. I can not speak as to their washability, they are brand-new. However, all of my other Isotoners through the years have washed beautifully. I use a gentle cycle and cold water on the machine, with "Woolite" as the wash soap of choice. I have never placed a pair in the dryer. I allow them to dry on a hook in the bathroom, and the result is satisfactory. For an attractive and comfortable clog-type slipper, these are a very good choice.
I had been wanting some slippers for a long time now, but the price for slippers at all nearby stores were simply too expensive. So I took a huge risk and decided to shop online. There were some others I was checking out, but when I came across these ones, I loved their description, and I love their price tag even more. So, after sleeping on it, I decided to pick them up. I went with the size 8.5/9 as I typically fall around the 8-9 range with most shoes. Fits perfectly, the heel was annoying at first since I was used to something being wrapped around my heel, but I've quickly become used to it, and subsequently, wear them often! They are warm, cozy, and perfect for my needs. If you're like me and your feet get very cold during the winter, but you also like being able to slip them on and off very easily, these are the slippers for you.I'd also like to add, some reviews clam the heels are too thick, or too big. I personally haven't had any problems with the heels, nor did I notice them when I first started walking around in them. They have plenty of give for natural movement, but they're also strong, so they're not going to start falling apart on you anytime soon either.
