I have had numerous pairs of these exact slippers. The width is excellent for bunions and they are very cushiony and comfortable! I do not wash them so I don't know how that would go. I just freshen them up with baking soda.
After getting a similar Isotoner slipper to give at Christmas, I decided I wanted a pair of my own, and ordered these. They feel really good. You just sink into them. They fit the way I expected, so they don't slide off or trip me up. They look good. I think they look better than the picture. The quality of the ones I received is really good- no bumps or seams to irritate my feet.---Update Note: They are cushy when you get them, so when you put your feet up, they seem tight. But when you stand on the cushion, they seem bigger. Over time, the cushion will wear down a bit. Added the note because I gave 2 pairs as gifts and they (recipients) both thought they seemed tight, especially when they sat down. I have bought them footwear before, so I know they were the right size- I tried them on to compare. Even though I told them, I think they threw them in the closet abyss....wasted....-So if you have sensitive feet, they are snug when new. You might have to kick them off when you put your feet up and take weight off them.
These plush black slippers are comfortable in the footbed with plenty of cushion. There is a lip around the slipper/sandal to help cradle the feet in place. I usually wear 8-8 1/2. I bought 8 1/2-9 and its a perfect length. They are not too long, nor short. They fight tightly across my instep, which is usually a fit problem for me. I like that these are snug enough to stay on the foot without slipping.They are new, but having tried many others, these seem to be a good value and have a clean look.
I have two pairs, the pink ones which are still going strong and have had for 5 years. I don't wear them too much anymore, just when traveling. I originally bought them because they didn't have black in my size. Once the black ones came in so tock, I stopped using the pink ones because they get SO dirty. The black ones I use daily and are still mostly okay after 4 years. Looking to get a new pair since these are getting haggard. They have been used, abused and washed to death and they really could be in worse condition. The seams just started coming undone on the heal which isn't noticeable but the foam has worn down significantly. Usually a quick wash will get them back to new but this last time the foam didn't fully survive. I love these slippers though. I primarily use them for after the shower and around the house but they've had many adventures outside, with the dogs and while traveling. Will buy again and hope that I don't encounter the same issues as some of the more recent purchases. I will update if that's the case.
**UPDATE** Not sure if they've changed the quality, but my third pair (pink) came apart from the sole in less than a month. I still like the comfort factor though as the sole isn't too thin and my toes can air. The pink really shows the dirt, so better off sticking with the black.This is the second time I've bought this model of slipper. (We had new carpet installed, so I wanted a brand new clean pair). I like the fact the sole is chunky enough that there is some support and thickness between my feet and the floor. I also like that they are cozy and warm, but allow airflow to my toes to prevent fungus/too much sweat building up. (I know, gross but something you have to think about!) I have a black pair and a beige pair -- obviously the black pair is more forgiving on stains and dirt, but I wanted to feel like I was getting a whole new slipper -- something that would look different. The satin adds a touch of elegance so they don't look too dowdy but without being too glitzy and cheesy. I'm sure I'll buy another pair when these ones ware out.
Comfy, cute, soft, and perfect! YES GOOD for WIDE FEET! I took a pic so you could see they do stretch out for fat feeters like me.I'm a 9.5-10 in other shoes so I got that size with these and it fits perfectly. Snug at first, but they will soften up to conform your foot and be perfect.I think I had the others for a year or 2 but I'm always home and wear them inside only, but daily.
I do not recommend these slippers. I have ordered them twice. I sent the first pair back because the seam around the bed of the slipper came undone. They were replaced. I have had my second pair two and a half months and they are coming undone at the heel and toe of the slipper. The slippers are comfortable but not sturdy. Very disappointed.
