Cute and comfy - weird tread on bottom

I really like the way these shoes look on. The quality seems to be good, not exceptional, but good for the price point. Much more comfortable to wear all day than expected (I usually wear flats). My biggest issue is that the tread on the bottom is weird. Under the ball of your feet, it is almost like felt rather than rubber which means they feel like they could be slick. I have worn them several times and have not had an issue... just seems a bit odd. If you were walking on linoleum or hard wood all day you may have more of an issue - I mainly am walking on carpet. Overall, I kept these because I thought they were really cute and comfy!

Quality I haven’t seen in a long time.They arrived with 3 formed ‘stuffing’ pieces to keep the shoes shape; individually bagged and then separated by a paper wrapping.The quality of the shoe + packaging = $$$$$Genuine suede, not vegan or other material. Suede is even on the wedge all around. Bottoms a a nice non-skid material. Nice waxed laces that are also well made.Personally, I’d use a suede specific waterproofer to keep the beautiful fawn shade from staining.Everything about this wedge bootie is as seen and described. The heel/wedge is on the higher side, so be sure to read the description on that. The color is a perfect match.I’d definitely buy again. If they had a lower height I’d buy a black pair in a second!
