These Boots Help To Take The Drugstore Out Of Cowboy!
These J's.o.l.e Cowboy Boots for men arrived on time, were well packaged in two boxes.There was the customary shipping box and the customary lithographed boot box within.The boots look really sharp. They sport a higher shaft than others that I have reviewed.That is important in Rattlesnake country. Caution, the PU Leather of these boots although a bit thicker than most should not give either of us confidence that these boots would thwart the sharp venomous fangs of a strike from a mad pit viper rattler. They fit perfectly and are easy to pull on because of a smooth fabric lining beginning at near the insole and continuing along the vamp to the toe box. They have a good heel cap and subtle embroider on the front quarter.I wore them for a full week and am satisfied that they boots that are well machine cobbled.Heels stay in place, the same for the non-skid sole that is is a distinct advantage over a traditional cowboy boot.The boots are actually somewhat robust and could in the estimation of this former Cowboy (In my youth) could be worn for doing chores on the ranch without shame. The round toe although providing great comfort is not something that is not fully commiserate with a traditional riding boot. It is this duty that calls for the pointed narrow toe style. The narrow toe is done in order that the boot can slip from the stirrup easily in the case of a sudden unexpected dismount caused by a low hanging tree limb that could be encountered when in the process of giving chase to a maverick heifer.the point is, you want your boot to slip easily from the stirru in all situation whether a casual dismount or abrupt start, buck, or trail hazard.I am very well pleased with these boots...they are made for service, for comfort, and as my title line might strongly suggest they are meant for work and not entirely for the drugstore cowboy.If you want to show off then the embroidery on each looks pretty authentic.Well done for factory bootery.They are comfortable footwear, for walking or working.I would like to compliment their quality and value with a full Five Star Rating for overall value.Good Goods, Good Boots.

Basic brown wide toe cowboy boots
Overall, these are decent cowboy boots. They are crafted from faux (PU) leather so they don’t have that great leather smell but they are soft, supple, and comfortable. The material does have some give which is welcome as I needed a bit of extra width. The soles are a rubber material which seems to provide good traction. There is adequate cushioning in the footbed.I ordered these in a size 9. In that size, these measure 11 1/2 inches toe to heel and 4 1/2 inches at the widest part. They stand 12 inches high. The color I received is dark brown. Oddly enough, the color called dark brown seems lighter than the color they actually call brown. That being said, the color is a deep carmel color. There is a seamed design that circles the boot and finishes in the front emblem. There is some embroidery work around the top of the boots which is nice even though it doesn’t show when worn. The only thing I did not like or care for is the “faux” wear marks colored onto the toes. It just seems a bit overdone and too much. This is merely a personal taste thing and extraneous coloring I could have done without.

Very comfortable and easy to slide on and off. I found the boots to be on the large end of the spectrum. I wear a size 12 and these are loose.They have a stylish, nice patina as advertised. The calf opening is large for tucking in your pants if you are into that sort of thing.They look very nice in jeans or can be dressed up.I think they are a good value for the price and worth looking into.
