Overall well made boot at an affordable value.
Fits well, no foot slippage as I'm walking, which can be an issue in a faux leather boot while breaking them in (The fabric doesn't shrink during shipping like the real thing). So right away, that's a good sign. Also, another thing I noticed right away was the comfort. I've had some boots that'll make you miserable during the "break-in" period. The insoles were very supportive and comfortable. My only complaint is that they're supposed to be slip-resistant. Immediately, they slid a bit on my floors. That may be from a leftover residue of sorts during the manufacturing process. It wasn't extreme but still noticeable. I didn't have any issues with traction that was worrisome during use for the rest of the day after that initial experience. They're also very appealing and a comfortable boot for a more affordable value than the other, more common "bigger" brands. They're made durable and thick enough to use as work boots.

These boots were delivered on time, delivered directly to me by a friendly conscientious Amazon driver.The first thing I noticed about these toe modified cowboy looking boots was their authentic embroidery. Then there is the height of the boot covering the calf with a full ten inches of protection. The heel of the boot is just right for walking and that is also traditional.What is not traditional are the square toes. So lets stick with the idea that they are fashionable hybrids.Cowboy boots have pointed toes to make for easy entry into the stirrups of the saddle. Been there done that.However, let us not worry about square toes because that is exactly why I ordered them. I wanted a traditional look and the comfort of square toes.Actually, these boots should be thought of as a marriage between a Wellington and a traditional Western style boot would be a better description of them. It is simple innovation trend setter.Next for me in my evaluation was the try on. The boots have good heaviy pull on straps that allow for at least two to three fingers to enter the loop to assist in the pull.The fit of these boots was perfect. They slipped on easily with a minimum tug. They fit like a glove. No slip sliddin' around for the foot. Your tootsie if you order the right size will be firmly planted in place..I am very delighted with the fit.Next came the really big test. How do they feel when walking?They were great. They give you stability and authority in your John Wayne ganter..I had almost forgotten how wonderful it was to be a boot wearer and walker.The boots have a very good nonslip tread design on the sole. So they are really made for walking and I did just that from the git and go. I did a walk about the city. Thereafter, I took a picture of the sole. You can see the undesirable gunk stuck in the tread. Not a problem turn on the shower wand and power spray them clean.The pull on tabs are wide and full, well attached to the boot. This is such a plus.These boots slide on so easily and can be removed with only a gentle pressure at the heel, that you wont need a boot-jack. The PU leather is thicker than other boots that I have reviewed. I am thinking it might be thick enough to foil the bite of a rattler, or some other North American viper.Good boots, great look. Just not totally authentic cowboy boots but hey, that is not a star grabber when you have good quality merchandise, with fit and comfort like this.In my opinion they are a very good value. They look good wearing and they are extremely comfortable foot gear.I am giving them a really BIG FIVE STAR approval.In my opinion you will not be disappointed if you can live with the wonderful comfort of a square toe....Ah, c'mon you weren't really going cattle herding on horseback were you?
