Essential Toddler Shoe
We love these shoes! We’ve bought a couple pairs of the snow boots by Jan and Jul, but this is our first time trying these. They are so easy to slip on, are lightweight, comfortable for my toddler, and look great too! I love that they have traction on the sole and around the lip by the toes as well. The traction is great for climbing at the playground or running around outside. The only annoying thing about the traction is cleaning in between requires a little brush, but being that they’re able to be washed you can always rinse them off and let them air dry if you don’t mind waiting a bit. It’s hard to find cute kids shoes that have a wide toe box and are good for their developing feet, but Jan and Jul accomplished both. They fit true to size and the variety of color/patterns is awesome! We’ll be buying a pair every year.

They Fixed the One Issue!
Upgraded insole!! I have been buying these Jan & Jul knit shoes for my kids since they were about 15 months old (so going on 5 years), and have always loved them with one complaint - while they are "washable", the fabric on the insole would always separate from the actual squishy foam part making them uncomfortable. I noticed on these two latest pairs that we bought that they now have a solid one-piece insole. These are now the PERFECT shoes! Easy to put on, breathable, wide toe box, and washable. Plus all the cute patterns! Love.

Best Toddler Shoes
These are our favorite shoes! I’m pretty sure we’ll order these every time my 2 year old outgrows his current size. This is our second pair and they are just as great. So easy to slip on, haven’t had ANY durability issues, and they clean up really well in the washer. I love that there are a variety of patterns that seem to match some phase my son is in. The white rubber does scuff easily, but again, cleans well. Only real complaint is I do worry sometimes about my kiddo tripping on the rubber tip while running. That seems to be a little more of a concern than some traditional sneakers. But honestly still prefer these given the durability, price, and wide toe box to give those toes all the space they need!
