This is my second pair of JBU boots, they are dressy and casual and comfort for all day wear as I am in an office and do a lot of walking throughout the day, do not care to change from boots to shoes in the winter so a nice dressy comfy boot is a must for me.
I bought these for a European vacation where I knew it could rain anytime. I hate wet socks! So I bought these because some restaurants I had to dress nice, and other days I hiked in Spain. I usually don’t write reviews, but I loved these so much I just needed to let people know: these are comfortable, had room for my arch supports, looked great, and I never felt a drop of water!
They are slightly too large, which wouldn't be a problem with thick socks. However, the "leather" looks kind of cheap. They are cute boots, but they don't fit perfect and look a little cheap. I wear a 9 1/2 - 10 and the 9 1/2 was slightly too big. I recommend sizing down.
Bought them for trip to Ireland they were so comfortable walking everywhere didn’t even use the other pair I took . Unfortunately I left them in Ireland while packing to come home but will buy them again
On my wide, achy, cold Michigan winter feet, I have worn these every day since they arrived. In them my wide feet are supported, comfortable, warm, and dry.And they're very cute. I get compliments all the time. They look equally nice with skinny jeans as with fringey-edged wide leg jeans.
Smell so bad!! I guess the waterproof sealant. Comfort is great.
I loved my first pair of JBU boots and I still wear them after 3 years, but they are scuffed. I bought two new pairs in August 2022 and they are both falling apart by October 2023. The brown pair has the sole separated at the toes and the inside heel is caving in, so I can feel the springs when I walk. The black pair has large cracks in the sole that is allowing water in and it also makes the cracked heel feel uncomfortable.
