Super impressed with these cute boots!
I have had these boots for only about 2-3 weeks but have worn them a lot for long periods of time. I looked at many different brands and styles and this is the one that made it to the top of my list and my first JBU shoe. Quick review: Cute, warm, comfortable, ordered my regular size.I work at a ski resort (inside position) and am on my feet for many hours and these have kept my feet very comfortable and warm. I have worn them with socks and even without socks in a pinch and they feel nice and soft inside - not rubbery and not fluffy but do seem to have a light fleece-like insole. I like that they look a lot like short fancier brand begins with an H boot but do not look like straight up rain boots. I actually bought these to replace my other fancier brand boots and like these a LOT better. These do not rub my ankles, do not make my feet sweat and are cute with so many things. Also important is that the sole is good on icy and snow-covered terrain, but still looks like a slim boot that is lightweight compared to a heavy snow boot.I like that they are very easy to put on. After a few days of wearing I notice they do break in a little and have gotten easier to put on. The pull-tabs in the front and back are awesome and very strong. I bought the black color (without the fur) which is accurate to the photos - not super dark black but more of a light black which just feels right for the style and material. I have not tested their waterproofness yet but they are truly perfect for what i wanted them for and they look great! Extremely happy with this purchase!

I’m a longtime fan of all Jambu shoes, and these do not disappoint! They are incredibly comfortable, no break in period needed (they’re slightly large, but I’m sticking with my normal size anyways in case I wear thick socks. I don’t think sizing up is necessary, they’re just roomy). Very easy to slip on and off. I love that they’re water resistant and have good traction. AND they’re very cute!! After wearing these boots in black just about every day for 6 months, I decided to get a brown pair too, and an extra black pair for when my first pair wears out!

A comfortable, cozy and fashionable boot!
I am very happy with this purchase so far. I was looking at the more expensive version of Blundstones, but did not want to dole out the cash right now and these Jambu booties have proven to be a great find. I haven't had to test them in extreme weather yet so I cannot speak to that, but they are warm for casual winter wear with a pair of Smartwool socks. The sole is rugged and gives you a little extra confidence when walking on wintery sidewalks. They look great with skinny jeans and a comfy sweater. Easy on/off design. I am interested to see how they wear over time.

Look well made & nice looking
Well made, very nice wet dry grip lug soles, repel water, nice nubuck look brown color, casual stylish design.This is a great company (alternately named J-41/Jambu/JBU) & they remanufactured old tires to make shoes, so commendably very Eco Conscious!!I live in their Tahoe shoes, great for walks, hiking, paddling & spur of moment lake swims . Great wide toe box & super comfy.I also really like their Chelsea Moccassin shoes for cooler weather walks & around town.Unfortunately, as I have very high insteps & arches, these short boots don't fit, so I had to return them, Waah.

Comfortable, good quality, almost stylish :)
I'll take it! Gets me out of my duck boots, "weather ready", decent price, very comfortable, feels insulated, memory foam foot bed. This boot runs true to size. I first ordered a half size larger, but had to return for my normal size. Shoe feels slightly bulky and 'boaty' and I wish it were a little sleeker, but it's honestly not that bad (and I'm pretty picky). Treads on the bottom seem really good for walking around in the winter and the pull-on feature is much appreciated as I usually have a baby in one arm. Wish they had these in charcoal or that the black wasn't out of stock in my size - I would order more!

Good, but not great.
I've been wearing these boots for a few months now and they're great! They're comfortable and do well in cold weather. HOWEVER. The main reason I bought these boots was because it clearly states that they are waterproof. It even says it on them. I live in Washington State, where it rains 80% of the year so that's an important factor. Maybe it's just my boots, that they're defective or something, but water gets into them. The first time it happened was during a beach trip with a friend of mine. I wore them specifically to stay warm and dry while splashing a little along the shore, but after a minute in about 1 inch deep water (it wasn't constant, just mainly running along and then back into the dry sand), I felt my sock getting wet. There were no holes so I'm assuming it's coming in from around the seams? I think well...maybe I was just in the water too long. About a week later, I wear them again during a typical Pacific Northwest rainy day, and I feel water creep into both shoes. I now only wear them during VERY light rain or just when it's cold. I love them and they're definitely comfortable, hence the 3 stars, but it's just frustrating not being able to wear them for the reason I bought them.

I bought my first pair in black on the cheap on another site. Came back and got them in brown. Fits my size 9 feet well with a pair of medium socks. Would size up a half size if you're looking to wear heavy wool socks for warmth. These boots worked for me at Xmas... just wore a dress with leggings and these were fine. I live in the Midwest and they deliver in rain or snow or heat. Wore them everyday I was in northern CA for light hiking, winery tours --the lot! They held up well and were quite comfortable.
