Too high for me

I really want to keep these shoes because they feel so good. But I need a lower heel. Unfortunately the heel height wasn't part of the description; had it been I probably would not have purchased these shoes to begin with. I even took them to a shoe repair shop to see what the cost would be to have them cut down the hill because I love the shoe so much. But the shop owner advised that it would be at least 35 or $40. That's almost the price of the shoe to begin with so I'm going to return them instead and look for a different pair that is similar but with a shorter Hill. Man I am really bummed because when I tell you the shoe part of the shoe feels so good and it looks so good on my foot but I want them to wear all day and I just can't do it without heel height.
