My daughter wanted "fancy" slippers, and these fit the bill. They were far less than I had seen the same slippers on another site. The listed sizing was just right. My daughter is 8 and wears a size 1.5. I bought her a large. They are very soft, but they have a rubber sole to protect them if wearing outside. The soles are also memory foam, so cushy. I can see them lasting a long time.
