Great for use with an Air Cast, but be careful about sizing.
I broke my foot a few weeks ago and I’m transitioning from a walking boot to an Air Cast. I need to wear the Air Cast for at least a couple more months, but it won’t fit into any of my shoes, so I needed something to use for a temporary shoe. These work great. They adjust easily around the Air Cast, and are comfotable and warm. Just note two things about sizing: I take a women’s 7.5 shoe, so according to the size chart and my foot measurements, the 7.5 should have fit, but they were too small in the length. I ended up needing to get the size 9, which is slightly too big, but useable. I think the 8.5 would have been perfect. So be careful with sizing. Also, these are not nearly as wide in the toe area as I expected. It’s not a problem for me because I only needed the extra width in the ankle area to accomodate the Air Cast, but if you have lots of swelling around the ball of your foot, you might need to size up. Otherwise, they are just what I needed, and I love that they are a wool blend. Nice and comfy. I can use them for slippers when I don’t need the ankle brace any more.

Very Nice, Safe, and Comfortable Slippers
These are the 4th pair of Slippers we ordered for my husband, who had a stroke and is wheelchair bound. We sent the other 3 back, as they weren't as described or didn't fit. These slippers are perfect, his feet and ankles are swelling because of inactivity and these slippers were very easy to get on, they are comfortable for him, and when he stands or walks with therapy, they are not slippery at all. Greatr as a slipper or walk around shoe.
These shoes are comfortable and adaptable to leg and foot problems. I find it a little difficult to manage to keep the velcro straps from grabbing each other when I am trying to put them on, but will learn over time how to corral them. They were reasonably priced and look like they will hold up. A great purchase for me when dealing with bandaging and painful feet. And, actually, they may be my slippers from now on.

Good choice for swollen feet.
Bought these for a diabetic relative who experiences feet swelling. Relative only had flip on sandals to wear when the swelling gets bad.Sandals are not safe. Relative took a couple tumbles because of the sandals.These are perfect. Good traction. Closed toed. "New" shoes covered in dry skin....
The shoe quality itself is fine. I bought these for my mother. She has extreme swelling in her feet. The ability to adjust them is great. HOWEVER.... when I opened the "new" shoes, they had clearly been worn. There was noticeable scuffs on the soles and flakes of dry skin ALL over the shoes. Inside and out. It was disgusting. My mother had a doctor appointment the next day and she desperately needed a new pair of shoes that would actually fit her or she would have to go in a pair of house slippers. I had to wash the shoes and let them air dry under the ceiling fan. I'm all for reselling items that have been returned, but this was just gross.
