So cute! Son loves them, runs in them, tough, good quality. Soft against the skin- no blisters.
My son loves them! It’s hard to find comfortable shoes for him since he’s on the spectrum. Great quality, not tight size was perfect.
These are cute, waterproof, very fall weather appropriate and perfect for a young child. They fit well. Good price.
1. Sturdy build & materialsRight out of the box you can tell these are more than playground sneakers. The upper had a tough leather + mesh combo, the toe bumper was solid, and the outsole had a deep‐lug pattern that gave me confidence on dirt trails. Many expert guides highlight that one of the key things with kids’ hiking shoes is durability — for example the review site CleverHiker points out that while many kids outgrow shoes quickly, if your child is active outdoors then “durable shoes matter.”CleverHiker+2Tales of a Mountain Mama+22. Good value for priceFor what you’re getting — decent brand, hiking-specific features, rugged design — the price felt very reasonable. It didn’t have to cost $100+ to deliver the durability we hoped for.3. Trail performanceWe took them on a few hikes (gravel path, some rocks, uneven terrain) and the shoes held up. The grip was good, the child didn’t slide or struggle. The support felt appropriate for a kid’s foot (which is important because, as noted, “hiking shoes and boots are more stable, grippy and reliable than everyday footwear” when kids are scrambling on rocks or roots).CleverHiker+14. Comfort and ease of useDespite being rugged, the shoes weren’t unbearably stiff. The child didn’t complain after a full morning on the trail — no major hotspots, no immediate blisters (though all new shoes need a little break-in). Because kids’ feet are still growing and they need comfort more than ultra-heavy support, that balance matters.
They run large and we had to return for a smaller size. We went down an entire size from weekday he normally wears, but they look great. Not sure how long they'll last, but he will probably outgrow before they fall apart since they aren't everyday shoes anyways. Great price point.
Extremely poor quality. 0/5. My son wore these once and the toe is peeling apart.
