So I put these puppies to the test the first weekend owning them. We went hiking through the woods with hills and creeks and lots of branshes and deep leaves to trudge through. Not only did they keep me pretty warm and dry, they had great traction on the uneven terrain. Plus they look really nice. I love the blue color and accent on the back. Worth the price!
First of all I am a rock hound and need a sturdy pair of boots. I spend a lot of time walking in streams and rivers and climbing on rocks. I also go to the ocean and walk the beaches. I cannot believe how comfortable these are. I have worn them all day. No leaks. They are not bulky and the rubber is flexible so no stiffness or rubbing on my skin. Great for walking in the sand. The height is tall enough to take me pretty deep into the water. They have excellent traction both in the water and out. They are also quite cute, you could wear them almost anywhere. I bought a pair for one of my rock hounding friends and she loves them as much as I do.
I've been waiting for nice rain boots to be at a good price, received an email from Amazon that the price lowered on these and jumped on it! I found that they are true to size I usually wear an 8W in shoes and an 8 in these gave me plenty of room for thicker socks as well. These are very comfortable, great treads on the bottom, fashionable , got the Navy blue, true to color. Can't lose with these, completely satisfied!!!
Overall I love the boots. They are stylish, warm, comfy, and best of all keep my feet dry.SIZE: I purchased size 7 boots and the foot area has enough room for thick socks ( I wear 6 1/2 to 7 size shoes). The calf area fits a bit snug (I have 17” calves) so if I wear too thick of pants or socks the boot will bend around the ankle area since the top can’t fully extend.CONS: I advise you wear black socks with these boots since the color on the inside of the boot bleeds into your socks. Also, the inside soles have started to move so I had to put them back in place.

No BS here!! These babies for a 17 inch calf in my regular size 8 size! The quality of the boots is rather outstanding as well tbh they have a sturdy sole and shaft. They are put together rather well with a plaid print in the interior making them feel like a good British wellie .. they are a bit roomy in the ankle to wear thick socks and it fits perfectly. They also come with a little insole. As far as I’m concerned why would we torture ourselves with the brands that are 4xs the price?!?
I bought a pair of black Hunter's only to not have them last any longer than the much cheaper pairs that I purchased before them. I work at a winery any wear these kind of boots almost daily so I may be burning through them faster than the average person. These ones fitted as expected in the foot area and have a bit more padding than Hunter's so that was nice. There is an equal amount of room in the calf area which for me is almost too much. The straps on all of these boots seem to be more for decoration than to actually adjust anything. I like the yellow racing stripe and the overall style of the boot itself is more appealing. So far I'm happy but we'll see how long these ones last.
