My 3rd Joules boots and won’t be my last
I LOVE Joules boots. They’re amazing for wide calves and wide feet. They’re great for working in the garden and cute enough with enough traction for running errands around town on concrete and tile grocery store floors. In the PNW where you wear rain boots more than half the year, they were my primary errand-running boot bc they’re so comfortable, and they stood up to that much wear. The heel finally did collapse after I moved to the south and was working on the homestead, but they last a solid 2 years. I replaced them with Western Wear and I regret it. Sure Western Wear is a little wider calf and more affordable, but they’re not nearly as sturdy or comfortable as Joules. So I bought a pair to replace the WW, and I saw that they were on sale so I bought another pair, knowing that I’d need them! I wear them every time I work out on the homestead bc they come up high enough to offer basic snake strike protection. But considering the work I do around the stead, the second pair that was on sale just so happens to be super cute, so for now I’ll save those for in-town on rainy days! I hope this helps!

Best rainboots
These are great and have worked really well for me so far (I've had them about a year or so). I have not had issues with leaks yet. I am a runner so usually I have difficulty fitting my calves into taller boots, but these fit my calves and even have room to move around while wearing jeans or leggings. I believe it was also true to size. The cute designs are also a huge plus!

Weird sizing, but perfect rubber boot
I wear a size 10 in every shoe. I ordered a 10 and the dang boots were at least a size too large for me. They were marked 10 on the boot tags inside and the box. I returned them and ordered a 9 when it finally came back in stock. It fits perfectly, and is still maybe just a touch roomy. These boots are beautiful, the rubber seems to be really tough. I've worn these all winter and spring to do my farm and garden chores and there have been no problems. The only weird thing is the incorrect sizing.

Love these! Lose a star for lack of foot support
Great boots and so cute. I didn’t realize the print was a “Right in the Rain” print. I got these to go with my Right in the Rain jacket that has a pink floral print on a blue background. These are perfect with it!I haven’t been able to wear them outside yet due to a foot fracture after purchasing, but looking forward to some puddle-stomping with the kids In the future once I’m cleared for weight-bearing in regular shoes again.The fit is good. I got U.K. 6 (US women’s size 8). I’m usually size 8.5, but planned to wear with lightweight socks and hate rain boots that are too loose. They fit length perfectly. If I was planning heavier socks or extra footbed support , though, I would size up. Not much support in the soles, so I’ll be adding some arch support (nothing too bulky because I don’t have extra room).Also - I got the lower height boots so they wouldn’t be tight on my calves. My calves are usually right on the edge of needing specific sizing for larger calves. I can usually wear ‘normal’ boots, but they’re very snug. On these - I wouldn’t be able to wear a longer height. So if you have thicker calves and a really short length between foot to where your calves begin - these might not fit comfortably and will rub against your lower calves.

The. Best. . .so far
These are super cute and great for the price. Not a ton of foot or ankle support but not wobbly either. Very dark blue, almost black which is exactly what I wanted. The floral design is tasteful and mostly on the sides with stylish stripes down the back. I read reviews and DEFINITELY recommend sizing down, unless you want to use inserts and super thick socks. I’m a true 9 and got 8. Perfect with sport socks. Room for give on calves but if yours are more than just muscular the mid calf length might work better. Now to wear! Follow up review coming after some use! Curious to see how it is to walk a bit in them.
