These boots look great love the buckles
Love these boots, they do have a chemical smell that others have talked about but nothing i wouldn't expect from faux leather. The fit is great im a bigger girl and they actually fit my calves without the giant gaudy piece of elastic most other boots have in wide calf. The do fit snug in the calves, but im sure they will stretch some, so I would call it a perfect fit. I was worried they would be too narrow but they are not feels good. Love the way they looked so much I ordered them in brown!

Not wide enough for 5’4” 165lb woman!!!
These boots say that they are “wides” but they aren’t like any other 8.5W I’ve ever purchased. I’m 5’4” tall and weighed 165lbs when I bought these. However when I got them they were way, I mean, way too tight in the calves and in the toe and arch. They are advertised as “wides” in the sizing, but more like regular sizes unless you’re very thin and look like a starving model they won’t fit a thick girl, not obese but thick(I’m writing this review for myself and my wife, as I purchased these for my wife) I mean all her weight is evenly distributed and her large chest makes for most of her curves. Her legs are muscular and every other pair of 8.5W boots we’ve bought have fit exceptionally well. These are not as wide as a standard 8.5W or probably any other #W shoe for that matter! I meant to send them back as a return, but our home business kept us far too busy, sending other packages, that we forgot and it had been about 1.5yrs since the purchase…she still has them in the closet in the original box and packaging never been worn (except to try them on when she got them). She begged me to buy a cheaper pair as she doesn’t hardly ever spoil herself, but I insisted on buying her something more durable and above the Payless Shoe Store quality. I was probably more disappointed than she was, because I love to buy her gifts that she is able to love and keep. If I make her smile and happy with a gift then we both get excited. However, this just turned out to be a huge letdown, and she almost begged me not to spend so much! I not only got her excited for this purchase/surprise, but I promised she would love it/them. She did love them, but they didn’t fit at all. Way too tight! We were both bummed and I was completely embarrassed for having gotten her so excited for her mystery boots! Moral of the story… if you’re not a toothpick/string bean body type with chicken legs, but the wides, you’ll thank me…if your not obese but average body build say, 5’4” 140-165lbs and you need wider boots…you probably shouldn’t buy these. FYI…I still haven’t been able to buy her a replacement pair, and I’ve chalked this purchase up as a huge mess up on the husband! I mean it’s just shy of buying your wife lingerie that’s too small!
