Good value. Much better than Sketchers!
Way way better than the sketchers I purchased. I have worn sketchers for work for the past 3 years. I kick my shoes off probably 50 times a day since I work on corporate jets. These are super easy on/off. They are very comfortable and the leather holds up pretty well. After about 2 or three months of use, the leather has split around the ankle on either side but the toe area looks pretty new. My old shoes would wear and look tan wear worn. These still look nice and black even when scuffed. Id buy them again.Update after 7 months... i have worn through the soles to the point where there is a hole and water passes through. 1 of the 2 shoes has split on the sides where your foot enters. I was hoping they would last longer. Id still buy them again though.

Good looking, nice shoes, sold value... order a half size smaller than normal.
Summary: Looks 5 stars, Comfort 4 stars, Value 5 stars. If you have reasonable expectations I think you will be satisfied.I wear a true size ten, my feet are not overly wide or narrow. I ordered the style 805a brown loafers. I took the advice of several customers and ordered one half size smaller and the fit was perfect. Materials and construction were very good, the shoes are lightweight and handsome. I wore them around the house barefoot to break them in initially. Initially they were slightly uncomfortable and after wearing them for several hours my feet were slightly sore. No blisters or redness developed. After wearing them daily for several hours for about a week they became adequately comfortable, but not incredibly so. They are quite comfortable when worn with socks. They have adequate, but less than average arch support and flexible sole with decent grip for a dress shoe.I give them a five stars for "presentation" the shoes came with a nice note and a remarkably nice foot shaped key chain. Jousen seems to be working to provide good value shoes with a little added class; in this regard, I think they succeed. I have not had issues with the shoes, so I have not had to deal with customer service.

I quite like these shoes. They are sturdy and comfortable. I use an insole with a custom arch, and they fit reasonably well, but I added some heel cushions to improve the grip on my heels as I walk. Buying shoes online is always a bit tricky for size, but if you are looking for a stylish and well made slip-on, this is worth checking out.

Good for the money
I am rating this middle, to be fair in comparison to other choices.This shoe is absolutely worth the price I paid for it; but the overall quality cannot approach a Rockport or Clarkes. The leather grain is good, the soles are very light (to the point of kind of plasticey), and the tread isn't deep. The overall comfort due to padding cannot compare to the bigger and more expensive brands.But this is absolutely worth what I paid for it, perhaps worth more than what I paid. I use them for work, but I'm not on my feet so much. The look has remained good after over two months use, and I haven't had to shine or polish them yet.

Good value in a nice walking shoe.
I purchased this shoe to have a slip-on for travel. It looks nice enough to wear into good restaurants and is sturdy enough to walk in all day. The overall quality feels a little cheap, but for the price it is a good value. It is not quite as comfortable as a running show. The fit was good for a wide foot.
