I had worn KSwiss Ultrascendors for years. Decided to try the Bigshot Light. So far, I am very pleased. Fit is good for my feet, (narrow) comfortable and they are light. They seem very stable with the extra sole on the outside for moving sideways on the pickleball or tennis court.
It is nice looking but stiff. I feel like I have my feet in cement plastic while wearing them. I would not buy them again.
I just purchased my second pair of the Black/Formula One/White version. I find them very comfortable, hard-wearing, and stylish. I like the black because they don't show dust/dirt like a lighter color shoe does.I've had the first pair for more than a year now, putting an average of about 6-7 hours per week on them (hard court, mostly weekends), from around April to Nov/Dec. FYI, I'm 6'3", around 210. I have found them to have great support, and trust them when making quick about-turns during a game. The soles are finally worn down, but the uppers look almost brand new! I clean them with a damp brush every now and then -- just takes about 5 minutes.I take a shoe size anywhere between 12-13, depending on the manufacturer/style; 12.5 in these fits me perfectly. They were very comfortable from the first day that I wore them -- never a blister or any discomfort. Hence why I'm buying a second pair!Highly recommended.
I play Pickleball 3-4 times a week. These shoes are great on the outdoor court. I rolled my ankle before I got this pair of shoes. The toe box is roomy and the way the forefoot part is constructed I feel it gives me the lateral stability that I need to prevent future injury. My normal shoe size is 6 1/2 so ordered same in these; fit perfectly.
These are stiff at first but once you break them in they are comfortable and have great support. I use for pickleball and they are great on the court inside and out.
I have been wearing the K-Swiss shoe brand for years. I recently received a defective shoe.I have reached out to both Tennis Express and K-Swiss. Tennis Express and K-Swiss said they could not replace the shoe and K-Swiss said they would discount a new pair. REALLY?First I have no confidence in purchasing another pair after this new pair. Second I don’t want to spend more money on this shoe and then go through the return process again. Super big hassle! In the photos I am comparing the new shoe to my older shoe. The new shoe is on the right in the photos. As you can see the new shoe on the right heel cuts off the design. Also the toe width on the right shoe measures 1/3” smaller. The tag on the right has another tag over the existing tag. Shady! I reached out to both Tennis Express and K-Swiss about the problem and they told me they would not replace my K-Swiss Women's Bigshot LTR Tennis Shoes in White and Hawaiian Ocean. What happened to customer service, quality control and shoe warranty? Very disappointed in the K-Swiss company and Tennis Express.
I have been wearing these for almost 2 weeks and so far so good. They are comfortable with no blisters or foot pain of any kind. The traction is excellent with no slipping or sliding. They run turn to size, I wear an 81/2 and this size fits perfect. The shoe is grey not black line other reviewers have stated. I would definitely recommend this shoe, I do play Pickleball 5-6 days a week so I update on how they are holding up.
