Lightweight yet very durable build
This shoe is old-school in style but the fit and comfort level is up to modern standards. The material is light but the quality is very high. I wore it for many purposes, not only for practicing taichi, but for walking, jogging, etc. it all live up to the expectations. The toe protection is actually quite handy when I accidentally kicked on the curbs. The rubber sole is quite bouncy and durable. Couldn’t ask for more at this price point.

Martial arts shoe purchased for Tae Kwon Do.
I'm trying to give them 5 stars but the app seems to be intent on only letting me give them 4. I've only worn them a handful of times. This is the first time I have purchased any shoes for martial arts. The scented insoles are nice. But im not sure how long that will last. They came with a nice canvas carrying bag. The soles are very grippy especially while on the gym pads. I have had to adjust my footwork (for the planted foot) a bit for kicking because of the stickyness (my foot will not pivot as easily on the floor while executing a kick) but, it's not much different than wearing sneakers durring a real life on the streets self defense situation. So in Real life I would need to do the same thing. OrdinariIy I teach and take the classes in bare feet as I have done for many years. However, I recently caught a toe on a gym matt and broke it. The idea for the shoes was added protection for the toes and keeping them together. Also, it mentions the sizes are one size lower than the American sizes. I am an 11.5 shoe in America, I purchased a 10.5 and they fit nicely.

I thought I was saving money, but 5 months later I see these are junk
I've been buying a competitive brand for decades in the $30 range. I thought I'd save money with these. I loved them at first sight. But when the sole began separating from the body of the shoes (more exactly unglued) I was amazed, since the tops were still gleaming white brand new. Now, 5 months from purchase, the sole has unglued on one of the shoes almost the entire length. Meantime, the little gaps I noticed months ago, continue to widen.

Better than Feiyu for traditional kung fu training
A very good, not too sticky bottom, sports shoe for martial art practice, especially kung fu. My training has always been with thin hard rubber bottomed shoes (originally hand made kung fu boots, can’t get those anymore), not thick soled sports sneakers or soft rubber Wu Shu shoes that stick to every surface. The harder rubber bottom is a bit noisier on floors after a jump after getting used to soft bottomed shoes. Not a problem, good for learning to land softy again.Only complaint so far as been the amount of time from ordering to delivery.

Shoe's great but runs a full size small
Shoe's great but runs a full size small. I needed an 11 - first shoe I've ever needed larger than a 10 (see photo).Good value compared to more expensive shoes.
