I ordered these before my trip to Russia in the winter. I went to the countryside, which was full of snow, black ice and ice. It was very slippery get my kids did not slip. They jumped into mountains of snow but they never had wet feet. They were cozy and comfortable they use the same shoes for three weeks and they never complained once from morning till 10 sometimes till 11 pm continuously.
I’m very frustrated because I carefully measured my daughter’s feet multiple times and triple checked the size chart before and after ordering these boots. Supposedly she should still fit in the size 7 but I ordered 8 for her to grow into and she can’t even get them on all the way. I took the felt liner out of the boots to see better how they fit and it was clear her heel couldn’t get all the way down before her toe was smooshed. That was without socks. She has the Snowbug model in size 7 and they are fitting comfortably as to be expected, but she is likely to grow out of them any day as a two year old can grow very fast. Furthermore we wanted a warmer option so went with this model. How can the same brand have such wildly different fits? But also, the size chart is a complete lie!! It says a 5.9” foot should wear a size 8 but my daughter’s foot is 5.5” and she cannot even get the liner over her bare foot. For the money and inconvenience of returning (we have to drive 20 miles to the nearest UPS store), this is a big disappointment.
Nice and warm. Good quality. Sizing as expected. Hold up to a 9 year old playing outside in MN winter.
I bought the size 1 from their website. It is good when it is brand new. After trying it for a few days, it becomes super slippery on the floor tiles. They won’t allow me to return it since it was worn for a few days. It is terrible and I don’t know what to do with the boots. I thought Canadian makes good winter products because they are designed super cold weather. Their reputation and prestige just got obliterated. Very disappointed. On the other hand, I bought Sweden jacket for my wife 10 years old. Very warm and light weight. Very Easy to wash in washer and dryer. It still looks very new after so many years. I am impressed by Swedish product. Canadian product are over priced and low quality. Canadian product have given me wrong impression all whole until I bought this overpriced, low quality boots which changed my perspective 180 degrees. I always believe Canadian product are on par with Swedish. And I am dead wrong.
