I've had time to try these boots in true winter conditions. I ordered as I usually would and the size fit me very well. The materials are sturdy, I expect years of excellent service. The boots are warm, the tread allowed me to move well through moderate snow depths and somewhat icy conditions. This is important to me, as I am handicapped and require crutches even in the snow. I felt comfortable and sure footed wearing these boots. Additionally, with a rugged boot like this, there is the possibility that it will be difficult to drive a vehicle. I was able to drive my truck and even deal with the sometime delicacies of working a plow. Needless to say, if my foot were to slip from either the brake or the gas, the damage done by a plow could be considerable. These boots worked well for me. I would recommend the seller and of course, the product, very highly.
These boots fit great I sized up for extra socks. I took these boots out deer hunting in 30° weather nothing crazy but my feet stayed warm in the stand. I would recommend these if you want decent boots but don't wanna spend the money.
In Nov of 2021 I bought a size 12 for my son. They were a bit tight, so we ordered a size 13, which was huge. He wore the size 12 the winter of 2021. In Nov of 2022 the size 12 were too small, so he wore the size 13 for a week long trip to Idaho (no complaints). I just ordered a size 14 to prepare for next year, but they were smaller than the size 13. I then ordered a size 15 and he found them just slightly smaller than the size 13. Meanwhile my husband has bought a size 11 and they were sized as expected.
These boots appear to be well-made and warm. No laces to catch on anything or get all iced up. This is the only tall winter boot I've found (so far) with a shaft that accommodates very muscular wide calves. However, the foot part of the boot is far too narrow. The mid inner side part of the boot is shaped and raised, I guess to support the arch, and it cut into my foot and caused immediate pain. If you wear an EE, EEE, EEEE, etc. most likely not the right boot. Maybe not for an E width, either. Considering the cost of other winter boots, if these fit you, good value.
I needed a boot that I could just step into to go to the mailbox or for quick outside things. They seem to be well made and fit the purpose well. Tall enough for snow. recommend.
I purchased these for my husband for Christmas. He has a hard time finding wide sized boots so I thought I'd order them on line as a gift. He has always gotten pack boots but I decided these would be better for the Maine winters because he can just slip them on, they are high enough for the big snow storms we get and they are great for him to use while snow blowing. He has worn them snow blowing and ice fishing and he said they are warm and comfortable.
