Great boots but they do run a Lil big.
great fit. nice warmth
I purchased these boots last year after doing lots of research on warm, waterproof, muck style winter boots. I was pleased that they are made in North America and look great for big clunky winter boot. Last winter wasn’t that wintery so the boots didn’t get much use. This year, in the Great Lakes region we are off to a serious winter and I have worn them daily for several days in deep snow. The first day I wore them my toes got really cold. When I got home I took out the boot liner (a potentially good feature) and found lots of moisture in the boot. I figured it was due to sweaty feet and rubber not breathing. The second day I wore them I had the same experience: cold toes and excessive moisture, especially around the toe area. Third day wearing them in deep snow and my toes were soaked through super thick Bombas socks and again freezing cold.Bottom line is these boots are leaky and don’t have enough insulation to keep my toes warm. Sad, but I’ll probably have to buy a new pair of Chinese made Bogs or something similar.
Best boot, hands-down, for staying warm & dry during farm chores!! May not be the most stylish, but my feet are NEVER cold or wet, even in subzero temps!!
I have 3 pair of kamik rubber winter boots. I love the side pull tabs. I wish they all had this. Besides that though, these boots feel alot more flimsy than the icebreakers and these definitely arent as warm as the other pairs that i own. Ill stick to the others from now on and maybe just glue a pull strap on them lol
The boots themselves are great, even though I returned them. I need a half-size, which isn't available. I have a pair of the Kamik Nation, which I love, but wanted a slip-on style for farm work.
Being boots it's always hard to tell the fit until you try them. Since there isn't a 1/2 size I got my husband the 11s he said they are slightly off. Great width but there is some play in the heal and toes he got himself some insoles and now they are perfect. He says if I got him the 10s it's possible they would be too tight and would run the risk of rubbing.
