Warm, Waterproof, Wonderful!!
At long last, after hours of shopping in stores and on line, I finally found a warm waterproof boot that fits!! I tried several different styles and brands a couple of which were "guaranteed" to be warm at temps to 20 below. Sadly, I found they did not even keep my feet warm at 20 degrees above zero for longer than a few minutes. One thing I really like about this Kamik boot is that the fur lining goes all the way to the toes. Add to that the nice thick sole and you have toasty warm tootsies, even in the snow. I also love the drawstring zip button closure so I don't have to stop and tie laces or pull up a zipper every time. I purchased these primarily to wear when I take my dogs outside which is multiple times a day, so I mostly just leave the drawstring and the boot "tongue" fully open for ease in getting them on & off. However, if I need the added warmth, it's simple to pull the drawstring a little tighter, even with thick gloves on.As for fit, I bought my usual boot size and the fit is close to perfect. When I first put them on, I thought they were going to be too tight because of the thick inner lining. However after just a few minutes of standing/walking, I realized they were actually molding to my feet and felt wonderful. I don't wear them for extended periods of time but I think they would be perfectly comfortable to do so. There is no pressure point or chafing, and they are relatively lightweight. My only small complaint is the ankle area is a bit narrow which makes it a little snug to get on & off with thick socks. However I think they might slip on your heel otherwise, so it's a tradeoff I'm willing to live with.Fashion/style was not a priority in my selection but for practical boots, they are sporty looking. I got the red which is a little darker than the picture, what I would call a cranberry shade. They are solidly constructed with a thick tread for traction and look like they will wear well for years to come. I'm very happy to finally have a pair of boots I can wear outside without my feet freezing.

Best Boots Ever!
These are the best boots ever! they are very warm. They come up just the right height and your foot is very snug and cozy in them. They are well-made. I usually wear an 8 1/2 in sneakers and got these in the nine and they are perfect very, very happy with them and I have looked at a lot of boots and I finally found the ones! Can’t beat the price either

Warm in really cold weather

Perfect winter boots
My last pair of Kamik boots lasted 11 years of snowy winters, so I replaced them with another Kamik pair and they’re perfect. Warm, easy to get on and off even with gloves on, tight enough to keep snow out, and waterproof, which is essential for being able to confidently walk through snowpiles that might be hiding several inches of wet slush. Love these boots- unbelievably good value for the price. I did replace the insoles with something with a little more cushioning, but that was easy enough to do.

Comfortable and warm! As Advertised.
Some winter boots are just not comfortable due to weight or fit, but these Kamik's are wonderful on both counts. They're light weight, easily slip on and off, and are warm. I've been wearing them to walk trails (that are snow covered and have uneven surfaces), walk dogs, and play in the corral with my Golden Retrievers. They're perfect for my needs in Interior Alaska. Highly recommend. I did buy a size up and am glad as that gives me more room for heavy socks (if needed) and inserts for heels.

Not great for walking
These are as warm as they promise and they are stylish, but that is about all they have going for them. They slouch at the ankle and end up cutting my heals, even when I wear thick socks. I had to sew on a stiff leather piece to the back to keep them from bending in and poking my ankle (there is a piece there that is supposed to do that, it is just too short and the boot ends up bending right at the top of the support). There is also no support from the sole of the shoe itself. I was able to put an insert in, which did help. Overall, very warm, but not great for walking in.

Best snow boots ever!
I live in the Chicago area and I bought my first pair about 4 years ago. They are the best boots I have ever owned. I can wear them barefoot in subzero weather in deep snow for a good period of time and my feet never feel even remotely cold. They are also extremely comfortable. They run true to size. I highly recommend them.
