Warm, great value
I've lived in cold-weather climates most of my life and wish I had known about these boots years ago. They are well made and warm. The only negative to be aware of is they have zero support. They are totally flat on the inside and have no arch or other support. They have a roomy cut so I was easily able to use insoles from an old pair of running shoes for a slight bit of cushioning and support.

The most comfortable winter boots you'll ever wear
These boots are an an excellent choice if you need winter/snow boots for trekking around on snow and ice. I have bought 3 pairs for myself and my kids, these are the most comfortable winter boots I've ever had. For the price, you can't beat it in terms of functionality and comfort.Pros:- Exceptional Warmth: The Thinsulate insulation keeps feet toasty in cold weather.- Fully Waterproof: Seam-sealed construction and a synthetic rubber shell keep out snow, slush, and water.- Durable Build: Feels robust and well-made, designed to withstand tough winter conditions.- Good Traction: The rubber bottoms provide good grip on ice and snow.- Easy Lacing: The speed lacing system is convenient for quick on and off.Cons:- Weight: They are not the lightest boots, which is a trade-off for their robust construction and insulation.- Bulk: Their substantial design might feel a bit bulky for some users, though this contributes to their warmth and protection. These boots deliver on their promise of warmth and waterproofing. The reviews all say they come too small and to size up, but I have not found that to be the case. It is true that the padding in the boot makes it feel small at first, but after wearing it a while the padding gets compacted and it ends up being true to size. So I would recommend ordering your true size instead of sizing up.Beware: I have had one order arrive smelling like heavy mildew, it must have sat in damp storage for a year before being shipped out. The smell would not wear off after airing it and drying it, so I had to return it.

The good: The boots fit great
The good: The boots fit great, and are very comfy. In the summer I like to wear minimal shoes, so in general I can't stand huge clunky winter boots. While these obviously aren't anything close to minimal, they've got some give to them, especially some flex to the soles, which makes them much more comfortable than I was expecting. (Maybe that's typical for any Mukluk/Sorel-style boot, but anyway these feel great.) They also seem durable enough -- I'm halfway through my second winter with these and they still seem in fine shape. The bad: The "-40F" rating is on these is a marketing joke. I consider myself to have decent cold-weather tolerance (I still ride my bike in 0 degree chicago winters, and I've gone backpacking at -20F). These boots are toasty down to around 10 to 15F. At 0F, they're still tolerable only if you're moving around a lot. I tested them out by sitting totally still outside in 5F weather, with a thick mountaineering sock inside, and my feet were freezing after 15 minutes. From what I read, these have about half the insulation you'd typically find in a real -40F boot. That said, they're slightly warmer than my previous winter boots, and cheaper than the other (warmer) options I looked at.The verdict: If you want to be comfortable at 10F, these are great boots, and very affordable, and I'd highly recommend them. If you really need to be comfortable at negative temperatures for long periods of time at low-activity, spend the extra cash on something warmer.

Excellent Winter Snow Boots
My second season with these boots and I find them excellent for clearing snow. They fit well, are warm and have very good traction on snow, icy snow and slush. My feet stay dry. I use them shoveling and snow blowing and have not had to bother any more with strap on ice cleats.

The perfect snow boot. Comes in wide.
Extremely utilitarian, tough snow boots that work as advertised. These are the best snow boots I have ever owned. They are warm, comfortable and can flex a bit as you walk despite how high they are. And most importantly, they are incredibly sturdy and truly water and snow proof. They keep my feet warm and dry during multiple hours of shoveling and messing around in the snow. I have never owned a boot that was this good at keeping snow from entering the boot. The grip of the sole is very good too.I love that they run in wide sizes too. Fits perfectly, true to size. I usually have to wear an 11.5 or 12 if the shoe doesn’t come in wide sizes, but I was able to order an 11W which fit perfectly. Somehow despite its sturdiness, this boot is flexible enough to lace up extremely quickly too. If you fiddle with adjusting the laces to the size of your foot and ankle, it literally slips on and off while maintaining a tight seal.Pros:- waterproof- keeps snow out- warm- large size selection, including wide- extremely fast lacing- strong grip- flexible despite sturdinessCons:- if you have roommates with similar sized feet, they will be attempting to borrow these to dig their cars out of the snow
