Great boots for our boy. I ordered them a couple of sizes too large so that he can grow into them. They're fine because they can be cinched up and tightened for his smaller feet. They're warm and keep his feet dry. We've only been sledding with them on once, so I don't know the whole story of how they'll hold up, but I HOPE they will and believe they'll prove to be a good buy.
These are really good boots. I am glad I checked the reviews to figure out which size I need to order. My daughter wears a 3 so I ordered her a 5 (went two sizes higher) and they fit perfect. Same for my son. He wears a 4 and I ordered a 6. Fit perfect as well with a little room to grow and possibly use again next year. My kids said that they are really warm and comfortable.
My granddaughter where's a size 12 1/2 shoe. Since it's nearly impossible to find 1/2 size shoes or boots, I ordered a size 13.They are a little big but for boots I don't mind. I like the quality, they are thick enough, made well. Easy for my girl to put on and she loves them. I like the longer top, great for playing in the snow.I am very happy with this order. I would buy again. I actually am very impressed. It's hard to find anything made with quality anymore. They are a little pricey but I'm sick of buying junk, so it was worth the extra $15.00 to $20.00.
I have just recently received these boots for my 3-year old. The boots are very good. The quality is just what I expected from Kamik. The inner bootie (liner) is soft and warm, while the outer bootie seems to be wear-proof.I followed the recommendations in the reviews and purchased a size larger. The boots do run small.The only thing is that it is quite a task to take out or put in the liner. But that is not going to be an everyday task, so this is not much of a problem.My girl is looking forward to snowy days to test these boots outside.Overall I am satisfied with the purchase.
These boots are wonderful. I bought three pair (different sizes) for my kids and they all love them. Most importantly, they keep their feet warm and dry. They are comfortable, easy to put on and take off, and have good adjustability with the ankle strap and the cord around the calf. They are high enough so that reasonably deep snow doesn't get down into the boot. If you have more than one kid and plan to hand the boots down, I recommend getting black. If I got pink for my daughter, they wouldn't be warmly received by my sons when they grew into them.
Great boots! I always buy Kamik because my daughter always passes her boots down to her little sister, so they need to hold up. I never hear complaints of cold feet, and my girls play out in the snow for hours. I have also washed the liners from Kamik boot on the gentle cycle, and they always hold up. Great quality!
The color was different than it looked on the website. The inner shell did not seem as soft as I expected based on the product description and other reviews. I couldn't even get my 4 year old to try these on beyond a few seconds. I ended up returning these and getting Sorels for her instead...which she loves.
