Awesome boots, and arrived in time for Christmas! Thank you so much!
Wife likes them and they keep her feet warm.
I wear a 9 i bought an 11. They run small. With the 11 there is room for heavy socks. Keeps your feel warm.
The delivery was prompt and the boots came in good condition. Based on the reviews, we bought a size bigger. It is roomy in the front but still a bit tight on the sides. If you have broad feet, you may want to consider getting two size bigger. The boots are rather heavy and bulky for small Asian build woman. My other pair of Soreal are much lighter. If you are traveling from the tropical country to enjoy a winter holiday, these boots will definitely add weight to your luggage. The material seems sturdy but is rather stiff; perhaps it needs a bit of seasoning. The interior feels quite soft and warm. Haven't try them in the cold yet. Hopefully they keep warm and are comfortable for walking.
This boot is perfect for the criteria I wanted: super easy to slide foot in and out of without bending down to get them on, no laces to mess with, warm, comfortable and top can be cinched up to block out snow if I need to. I use them for tromping through the snow back and forth from house to studio. I am most always carrying materials and supplies and don't want to hassle with maneuvering and lacing into/out of a boot. I live in a cold climate and these boots have a very warm, firm felt lining (can be removed and replaced if needed). The sole is adequate for grip and rubber sides waterproof up to 2.5" for wetter trails. I wear a size 8 - 8.5 in shoes but read reviews warning of the smaller fit of these boots, so originally ordered a size 9. They were still too small! I returned those and got a size 10 which fits perfectly for ease of on/off and comfort of walking around. They fit great in length and in the toes, but a bit loose in the heel (I have a narrow heal), so might not be great for long hilly hikes for some folks. These boots also appear adequately made and I hope they are as I am loving them so for. I would highly recommend ordering 1 or 2 sizes larger.
Edit:These are great boots but the sizing can fool you when you first put them on. You need patience. My first pair I got were my size 8. They seemed too small. I returned for a 9. After several months they were too big. The second pair I got was my size 8. They were snug at first but now they fit perfect. I just ordered another pair size 8. I want to rotate out the ones that are too big. I like to have a pair for the mud/slush and errands and a pair for when I am working or going out somewhere. I will retire this pair of size 9 at the end of the season.I wrote a review on these boots about four years ago. I currently plan to order a new pair and I happened to see my review which spoke about sizing. Apparently neither the eight nor the nine worked at that time. I stuck with the 9 even though I am a standard 8. My current boots, as much as I love the boots for winter, are so big. I was happy to see the description of the boot now says the sizes are true to fit. I hope they fixed the sizing issue and that they are true to fit. When I bought these the first time only reviews spoke about sizing. Before placing these in my cart, I ordered a pair of summer Kamik boots. The description on those say they run small and to order a size larger.I plan to order the Greenbay's in a few weeks so I will come back and let you know how a size 8 fits this time around.
I have had these for about 6 months now. I would buy them all over again! Order the size you wear...If I grabbed a size 7 box in a department store, they would fit just as these do!! They fit and feel great, with room for my wool socks. But you need to understand, they are made of heavy duty material...SO THEY ARE A LIL HEAVY. Heavy and "very" warm, which I love!!! The snazzy strap ensures they will stay on your feet through all terrain. They have an extra insulation sleeve that you can remove or also buy if ever needs to be repalced. I love that they are waterproof, they clean well with just a damp rag. I wore them to work with my office attire (icy day) a few weeks ago (looked silly) but I got so many compliments on them. Made with the best quality materials, they do not look cheap in the slightest. Ive gone hunting, and hiking in them and they are very sturdy in the mud, ice and snow. Your feet will stay dry and warm!
