Highly recommend these excellent waterproof boots. Good fit, good looking, and as a bonus these are warmer than expected.
UPDATE!: I've had these boots for 3 years now, my original review is below. These boots are fantastic. I've worn them many many many times. In the yard, working in the garden, out and about when the weather is bad, walking the dogs, and to an outdoor music fest where the mud was (I kid you not) nearly knee deep. No matter how dirty they get I just rinse/hose them off and they look like new again! They haven't leaked or torn. Maybe they aren't as shiny - but they've been through a lot! If someone wants a pair just for commuting or for running errands, these boots if worn just for sidewalk adventures would probably retain their gloss and nice look for years. The inner foot liner came out of the R side, I just tuck it back in and if I get around to adding some strong glue it'll stay, I'm sure. Overall after 3 years of wearing these boots all over and many, many, many times I absolutely highly recommend these boots!!!Original Review: I highly recommend these Kamik waterproof rain boots. I purchased these boots to use when walking the dogs, walking out in the yard when there's rain/heavy dew/mud, and running errands/going out in sloppy weather. These are perfect for all those uses. They are equally as good in country fields and grass as they are on a city sidewalk.SIZE: I wear a 9.5 Women's shoe, I ordered these in a size 10 and they fit great. Very comfortable with a regular sock and enough wiggle room to allow for a thicker boot sock if desired. I have average width feet and the width of this boot was just fine. My calves are average sized and the boots aren't tight around my calves.CONSTRUCTION: Kamik makes quality boots. This is my second pair of Kamik boots (the other pair are winter boots). The material is waterproof and flexible while still holding the shape of boot very well (no "falling down" around the calf). The soles are sturdy and the treads provide traction in sloppy weather. I've worn these boots in heavy rain and they are definitely waterproof.STYLE: These boots look good. Jeans with a boot cut will fit over the top and the bottom of the boot looks nice. Jeans/pants can also be tucked into the boots without them feeling tight and that's a good look as well. The boots look good enough to wear with a casual skirt/dress. I ordered the boots in red, they are shiny, a true red color, and I've received many compliments on them. These are very good looking rain boots.WARMTH: A surprising bonus is how warm these boots are. I wore them for several hours straight during a heavy rain in temperatures just above freezing and even with a regular sock my feet stayed warm and dry. I haven't worn these in the snow yet - however based on how warm they are in near freezing weather, I'm expecting that with a thicker sock they will be able to keep my feet warm in snow even though these are a rain boot and not a "winter" boot.COMFORT: I've worn these boots for several hours at a time and they have been absolutely comfortable.

For value, comfort, practicality and cuteness, these boots are tops!
After about a year of use, these boots look and feel like new still. They're very well made - looks like I'll be able to use them for many years yet. In terms of aesthetics, they don't come in the super cute patterns that some other brands have. But I've had some of those other boots, and they cost twice as much and then crack and leak after a season's use. I'll take a simple, cheerful color that lasts me years and years, thank you very much. In terms of comfort, I've never had a rain boot that I could comfortably wear all day. These, I can. I think partly that's because these fit snugly around the calf. It helps to keep the boot from slipping on the heel. Some reviewers have said they're too tight, or they don't like that you can't tuck your pants in. I can imagine that if you have very thick calves, you might find these too tight. And no, unless you have very thin calves, you're not going to be able to tuck your pants inside. But I solved that pretty easily. I roll my pants up to near the top of the boots, and voila. No wet pants and no uncomfortable bunched up pant legs.

Excellent rain boots!
I waited awhile to write a review. I originally purchased these boots to muck my horse stalls, which they are perfect for that task. However, they are also my favorite go to rain boot during the horrible Florida rain storms. I get so many compliments about the color, which I purchased the red. They are a nice deep burgundy red, not fire engine red. I love these boots and they are 100% water proof. They go high enough to keep all water out ,but not too high. They fit mid calf. They are good for all seasons just wear a heavier sock in the winter. Definitely try these boots. Excellent purchase, great price, very comfortable, very good product. Pretty fashionable too.

They look great and even feel great except that I suspect if ...
Even though I am most likely sending these boots back, I will still give them 4 stars. Here's the problem...they are tight at the top. Which is really surprising because I have never had a problem with any boots fitting me that way. And I read the reviews that stated that they were larger at the top! I didn't get them to make any fashion statement. I wanted simple rain boots that would coordinate with whatever rain jacket I decided to put on that day. So I got simple black. They look great and even feel great except that I suspect if I were to wear them for longer than it takes to wash my car I would have skin issues. I have average size calves--never measured them as I've never encountered a boot that I couldn't wear. I wear an 8.5 in shoes, got the 9. It fit great on my foot. I had on black leggings when I pulled them out of the box and tried them on and was shocked to feel how tight they were on my calves. I don't think there is any way that I could wear jeans tucked in...and I only wear skinny jeans. So 4 stars because if there were even an extra 1/2 inch at the top I think they would be perfect. Very flexible. You could fold them over and pack them easily. This is super important to me as I had decided not to buy any rain boots that would take up my entire carry on when flying. These are perfect for that purpose. So...if you have smaller calves and want a great looking simple boot that you can pack easily, these are your boots. Also, love the flat bottom in a rain boot. I don't really like the kind that have a slight heel. Great traction as well. So back to the beginning where I said I will 'most likely send them back'. Because they were very reasonably priced ($25ish with reward points) I may talk myself into keeping them and trying to stretch the top or wear them only with leggings and see what happens?? Who knows...I ordered some Sloggers just now and if they work better I will probably send these back. Ugh...stupid calves!
