These are sooooo cute, warm and comfy! Really lucked out on this buy.
These boots fit as expected. When I purchased these they looked more on the sneaker side of a boot which I liked so naturally I doubted their capability of providing warmth. I. Was. Wrong. These are for sure a boot to wear in the fall or mild winter. I have not worn them in deep snow or overly wet terrain but I don't think these are really boots to hike in but rather leisurely walking around town.
Very comfortable and beautiful rust brown color!
Fabric torn on exterior sides within a few weeks of occasional use. Was waterproof initially, to my surprise (at least in light rain). I liked the style and fit, found the size accurate too. Too bad it’s not durable.
Love these boots! Bought them for a trip to the mountains. Great for hiking but I wound up wearing them everywhere. Now back in Florida and wearing them with jeans! Not too heavy, but extremely comfortable and sturdy. Good tread keeps me from slipping on hiking trails.
I bought these to wear on a two week trip where there would be lots of walking and some rainy/cold weather. They are cute and fit well (true to size), but they are so ungodly uncomfortable that halfway through the trip I had to stop wearing them. I am disappointed because I spent a long time debating buying these, and I have several pairs of sneakers from this brand that I love.I guess they would be fine to wear for short periods at a time but all day is a no-go ☹️
I test all boots for being weatherproof before wearing them outside. I put my hand inside and place them into a bucket with a few inches of water. (Like stepping in a puddle.) Water soaked into the surface immediately, then seeped inside a few moments later.I can't stand brands who pretend their styles are functional when they are purely for fashion. Not everything has to be built for the elements, but don't falsely advertise!! Ked's Scout boots (except the first version) aren't any better. I don't trust Keds for performance wear.
