Thin supple leather
These shoes are very good looking. My husband said they are quite comfortable when he had them on. The souls have almost like a felt like texture to them and he said that they were not slippery at all. They are marketed as dance shoes but I feel my husband would wear these to anywhere dress shoes would be appropriate. The shoes have a lot of give to them... He wears a size 13 and these ran a little on the narrow side but after he had them on and walked around the kitchen he said they felt fine.

Comfortable "Pleather" dance shoes of questionable durability
These ballroom dancing shoes are lightweight with strong gripping felt like material on the soles of the shoes. They look good but for me are a bit too "stubby" in appearance. In short, they make my size 11 feet look fat, which is rather hard to do. The PU "leather" (read pleather), is thin. I think this is to make it quite flexible and lightweight, not because it is cheaply made. The shoes look like they are made of real leather and are remarkably flexible which is important for dancing moves.The shoes are immediately quite comfortable. The heels are not as durable as I would like. After only two outing they showed noticable wear. The sole fared quite better. Overall, these do the job well, and apart from making my feet look fat, I like them.
