Very good fit and comfortable
excellent non-slip shoe. I haven't tested the waterproofness of them yet but I have owned similar choose from this brand and they are almost always very good in that category. the only thing I recommend is that you get them half a size larger than you normally do because they are just slightly tighter than normal
Excellent hiking shoe - very comfortable and they required virtually no breaking in. Only minor downsides: 1) on 15-20 miles days over relatively hard terrain I did wish it had more cushioning, like my running shoes; and 2) when walking along the edge of a raised path I did find a tendency for my ankle to roll out based on the way the heel is shaped, but I have weak ankles which doesn't help.
I wouldn’t say these are “comfortable”. They’re definitely not as comfortable as memory foam house slippers, for example. But there is a remarkable lack of “discomfort” when wearing them. My feet feel nothing bad. My knees feel nothing bad. They seem to be incredibly stable. I think they stopped me from rolling my ankle a couple times. The water proofing is fantastic. I never even notice moisture or temperature change from walking through lots of wet grass when walking the dog. So these don’t feel “super great”, but they do seem to make everything negative go away… I can’t imagine I’d ever buy another brand or even style of sneaker for what I use these for. Wish I had found them years ago.
Nice looking, sturdy looking hiking shoe with a strange fit. Nice and narrow width in heel and toe box, but the shoe volume is very deep...like twice the height/depth of my feet. Returned due to strange fit.
Even though the sole feels hard and not not that much padding, it’s a super comfortable shoe one can wear it all day
What happened to Keen? I’ve recommended Keen to so many friends and family. Now they make garbage? These are horrible. I’ve never had any problems with these being a more expensive brand but the materials and build quality has just fallen through the floor. So disappointed. Nice that they didn’t raise prices during COVID and subsequent inflation, wonder how the company made profits oh I get it cheaper materials and put together by the poorly trained. For example one of the best things about Keen was the comfort and wide toe, these are as tall as they are wide. No one’s feet are shaped like this. I hope someone at the company try’s these and asks themselves what are we selling. Sad sad sad.
