Great cushion and attractive looking upper!
Comfy footbed. Well put together. Nice color, and Waterproof; nice for the Northwest.
These shoes are so durable my husband wears them every day. We live on a rural property and these are the only shoes that hold up well over time. This is the "lighter, more breathable" version of the shoe. He also wore hem as daily shoes during a month long trip to Italy. They held up to a lot of walking. I really recommend them and wish they came in other colors too.
I will hang onto the shoes there’s going to be times I can wear them and sometimes I can’t. Thank you.
Garbage. 4 months from when I purchased them, they started getting holes on each side of the boots. Now they have multiple holes everywhere. This is my 3rd pair in the past 2 years. I will NEVER buy again.
I've been more of a Merrell shoe guy for hiking shoes and boots in the past but these Keens are at least as good as any my previous Merrells, and in some cases, possibly even a little better.I think the fit is good. I usually wear size 12s and I got an expected fit with these Keens in a size 12 too. The shoe doesn't get unnecessarily narrow in the front, so there is enough comfortable space around your toes when you are walking for a while on a trail. I've only had the shoes for a little over a week, but the durability seems really good. Stitching is consistent and reliable all around. The tongue area has enough puffy cushion in there so the laces don't hurt the top of your foot. There is some mesh on the top of the area that provides some breathability, but don't expect miracles. If you are out on a trail for awhile under the sun, you are still going to feel warm regardless of how much mesh is present. The bottom of the shoe is tough. It provides good grip and traction and I like that it comes up and over the toe of the shoe, and there is a high rubber backing on the back of the shoe too for maximum durability with the ability to keep you dry if you splash in some shallow puddles. The only minor downside of the shoe is that the toughness of the bottom also comes with some added weight. You'll appreciate that durability, but you will also feel that weight a little bit after a mile or two on a harder trail. All things considered, I'd rather have a shoe that I know is going to hold up and I'll deal with a little extra weight as the cost of that protection. As a totally subjective opinion, I think this bison/fossil orange color scheme is great for a legit trail shoe.Overall, other than the weight, it's hard to find anything to bash about this shoe. If you are looking for a low shoe that will hold up for a long time and can handle tough trails, it's hard to go wrong with this pick.
