Best boots I've worn in a very long time
Great boots! My feet are wide across the forefoot but not particularly wide at the heel, so most boots that fit around my toes leave my heels sliding around. But these fit quite well. They are comfortable and provide lots of ankle support. I wear them every day to hike (I'm retired and spend a lot of time hiking with my dog) and they have held up amazingly well for over a year, still going strong. These might be the only "waterproof" hiking boots I've owned in many years that actually don't leak. I think it's because the uppers are made of only a couple of pieces of leather and there are very few seams. The traction is just ok but far from the worst. I just bought a spare pair I case Keen stops making them.

Poor quality
Comfortable and fits great but the soles are falling apart already after light use. Keen quality is not what it used to be!!!

Comfortable out of the box
Surprised at how these were comfortable from day one, no break-in period. And they are lighter than I thought they would be. They also have a large toe box which helps with the fit. I usually wear a 12 1/2 and got sixe 13 and they fit just right.

Handsome !
My husband is very happy with these sturdy, good looking boots. We got a great price and they shipped quickly. The traction is excellent, and the gray color , a first for him, blends nicely with stone washed jeans. He works on pavement 12 hr. A day and is not a spring chicken so he really tests them out for durability. He normally wears Carhartt work boots but Amazon had such a good deal on these babies and Keen is my favorite brand so took a chance. He is a 13 wide but the 13 regular worked perfectly for him as Keen usually has a wide toe box. The amazing thing is that they are so good looking, not boat like at all ! Thought they put the wrong size in the box ! Great boots, great service makes a Happy Camper!

They don't last very long
I will preface this by saying that I wore these boots every single day for a year. I wore them at work (facilities maintenance) and camping/hiking at least once a month. Either way, I bought a pair of these right about a year ago now, and they are absolutely toast. The treads are pretty much gone and the sole is starting to fall off. I walk a lot at work and work a lot at home, all while wearing these boots though. Still, it seems like they should have held up a little better. These are very comfortable boots though, and they look really good. They also are in fact waterproof when they're new, but mine began to leak (even when just walking through puddles) after about 6 months of daily use. If you're just planning on using them around town or they are your designated hiking boots and they only see use on the weekends, they'll probably last a while longer. If you work on your feet and want a good boot to wear every day, this probably won't be functional for more than a year (if that). To replace them I bought the Keen Independence utility boot. It looks similar but it has a composite toe and seems to be built a little sturdier. They're definitely heavier, but they are still comfortable... they're warm though. Probably too warm for summer, so I bought another pair of these Pyrenees too. I figure I'll just wear them in the warmer months and maybe I'll get more life out of them. We'll see. Prob not the most helpful review lol
