This is my second pair of these clogs because they are so terrific. Like the first pair, the second pair was tight at first, but they broke in quickly. And unlike many clogs, these stay on your feet so if you need to take a brisk dog walk, you can.
It's a fine shoe, typical of Keen, but these clogs didn't fit. I usually wear a 12 or 13 in Keen and I couldn't get my foot in the 13. I am not only a wide, but have a "high instep" and this may be why.
I’m very much a guy who likes good footwear, I am very big into Keen shoes/boots.When I bought these, I wanted some thing that I could put on my feet rather quickly they would look fashionable with a nice pair of jeans and a button up shirt for a casual look. When I purchased these, I got my size never thinking they would run small. When I receive them, they are the right size, but they are very hard to put on the opening of the shoe is not large enough. Do yourself a favor and maybe stretch out the shoe some because they fit very tightly around the top of your foot. After buying some shoe stretchers they fit nicely but it took a lot of time to get them where I need them. They are a super nice shoe durable. Good for the winter even but they run exceptionally small around the opening where you insert your foot.
I have worn only Keen shoes for decades now and their fit and comfort has been superior to any other shoes I’ve ever worn. These shoes are no exception. After trying on both women’s and men’s shoes of this style I found the men’s fit my wide feet better than the women’s, so I went with this pair. Not the most beautiful pair of shoes I’ve ever worn but so warm and comfortable! I really needed shoes that were well fitted and stable because I only have one good leg, and my balance is severely effected. These shoes are perfect for keeping me stable while walking. They were just a bit plain for my taste and not very feminine. So I upgraded them to a more feminine look 😉
I have several keen boots. this would be great to replace crocs however they are difficult to get on and look and feel like a cheap flea market brand. Way to expensive for what they are. has that cheap look and feel about it. the sole is typical for keen. craftsmanship and design is poor. the "leather" is or looks like cheap general doller shoes with a high price tag.
I wear IS 12D and that’s what I got. It’s a perfect fit. The snugness is at the arch, but equivalent to a lace up shoe fully laced. Like others have said, it isn’t a slip on unless you shove them against a wall, and even then, you will need to pull the heel up as these are not clogs and the fabric cuff prevents it from being an easy-in mule. Not a fan off the cuff and wish they had just gone with a leather band, for looks. That said, you don’t buy Keens for looks. They are very comfortable right out of the box and many of my shoes are bespoke so I know what comfortable feels like. There is heel slip, but the snug arch prevents foot movement. It could get irritating if you don’t wear socks. No show em socks will not work because of heel slip. Ankle height do.
Been a while since my last Keen mules. Shape, design, comfort, sole are all outstanding from the moment I put them on. Fit true to size. I am a male wearing a size 10.5 and love 'em!
