Very comfortable well made boot.

So far they are a very nice boot. I’m using them for work mostly but will also use them for light hiking. They are comfortable right out of the box and I’ve had 0 pain from breaking them in. They breath well and my feet have been nice and dry. I’ve only got around 24 hours into them so far but I’m impressed. The materials appear to be high quality and overall seems like a well constructed shoe. I will update this review as I get some more miles on them. I read reviews about sole separation but mine appear to be very well glued and attached so hopefully that was just a temporary issue. I do worry a little about the black tread separating from the main part of the boot as it’s very aggressive and appears to be just over molded on but time will tell and I will update if I have any issues. All in all very happy with the purchase and the price paid.

Moderate price point in sole (improvement)

First time owning the mid high Keen. Have several of this model in the low top. First time that insole was not the crepe paper insole. It's yellow, may be the lowest of the Keen aftermarket insoles. Likely I will still update to the Timberland Pro insoles. Easier on my feet on hard/concrete. Still leaves enough room for medium socks (more cushion).Found the tongue lighter/thinner than the low top. No idea if this is to reduce bunching or a price point. Has yet to impact my comfort level.Have been waterproof so far. Winter (snow and light mud). I wear rubber boots when I know I am going to be in the muck.

Excellent hiking boots. Light, durable, dry fast, sure grip, no break in needed.

I love Keen hiking boots. They are ready to hike right out of the box requiring little break in.If you wear a liner and medium thickness hiking socks you'll need to order a full size larger than your street shoes. Otherwise your toes will hit the front of the boot and after 12 miles, you'll be unhappy.Keens have a large toe box which means I don't need to order wide widths. My last pair of Voyageurs lasted about 500 miles on the AT and countless miles of training.Excellent boots.I do recommend some quality inserts though. That's advice applicable to any boot.

Great shoe that doesn't last

Second time I've purchased these Keen Voyager mid-height hiking boots. I love them for the fit, arch support, ankle support and protection, and great traction wherever I walk. Both purchases wear out after about 14 months. the lugs of the sole come loose from the undersold. I've shoe-gooed them to extend their life a little. Really poor design/quality to become faulty out so quickly. Going back a decade this model did not have this issue. Looking for alternative.

Perfect Fit & Super Comfortable

I use these Boots daily. I'm on my feet all day and these boots are so lightweight & comfortable, I hardly notice I have them on. I have used them on day hikes with a light day pack and my feet never ache, blister, or develop hot spots. A bit slippery on wet floors & ice, but not really made for ice anyway. Only challenge I've had is they get a bit smelly quickly. I don't usually have stinky feet, but do now with these boots. I use gear deodorizer spray and it helps. These have been mostly waterproof and kept my feet dry. You don't want to traverse a river with these on. Breathable & keep my feet virtually sweat free. Fit true to size.

absolute garbage

I have been wearing Keens for around a decade now, and I have loved them. I purchased this most recent pair for a 5 week archaeological project in Belize and came to almost instantly regret it.. Unfortunately, they were absolute garbage. By the middle of the first week, the souls started to come unglued around the arch. By the end of the trip, they were held on only in the middle of the foot. One of them was also poorly sewn, and as I walked across slopes, my foot would slip to the side, so that I would wind up walking on the side of the shoe. I am beyond disappointed in this product. My experience was so poor that I will no longer be purchasing this brand. To sum, these are absolute garbage. I recommend a different brand.
