Great All-Purpose Shoe for Casual Hikes and Daily Wear
These shoes are outstanding! I spend a lot of time at our mountain property, and they’re the pair I reach for most from late spring through fall. With our home sitting atop a ridge, surrounded by 80 acres of fields, woodland trails, and a river to explore, I need an all-around shoe that’s lightweight, durable, waterproof, and provides excellent traction. Whether walking around the yard, heading down to the river, or taking my dog on a quick hike, these shoes handle it all with ease, providing comfort every step of the way.For walks and hikes that are more technical and go well beyond a casual trek, I’d choose something with added support and more robust toe and foot protection. I gifted these to my husband for Christmas as his prior hiking/ trail running shoes had run their course (no pun intended). He’s very picky with his shoes, the fit and sizing so I knew it was a risk but I loved the style and had to give them a shot. Thankfully he loved them as soon as he opened them! He said they’re the most comfortable hiking shoes he’s ever worn, they’re true to size and he commented on how it feels like he’s walking on a cloud. Super grippy sole that can be a bit catchy until you get used to it. From golfing to rocky hikes in Corsica, these are all day winners! Very high quality finish. Absolutely love the versatility and comfort. Foam is more cushiony than my Keen NXIS and more alive. Less fatigue on long walks. No sweaty feet breathability too. I actually find it hard to believe these are waterproof. Style for miles with the fade in fade out color scheme. As my wife says these are perhaps the best looking shoes I've had in a long time! Fit is true. I returned two pairs of Altras before these for their poor fit. (Too small too big at half size increment!) Love these!
