Great Outdoor Light Hiking Shoe
I'm a professional golf caddie in the Pacific Northwest, and good shoes are essential equipment in my world. A fellow looper introduced me to this model shoe, and it's my year-round standby. (Spoiler Alert: Keen has discontinued this model, which is why I bought 3 extra pair last year.)The Zionic Low Height couples excellent waterproof construction with great support and traction. After walking up to ten miles carrying a golf bag over varied terrain, my feet are pain-free. And unlike a lot of similar waterproof trail shoes, these Keens are very breathable, so I can wear them all day without having damp socks.I really like the tread design, which is grippy without being aggressive. I can walk across a putting green without leaving tread marks, yet climb a fescue-covered dune without slipping! I even wear these shoes to play golf, and they perform as well or better than my purpose-built golf shoes. Finally, the Zionic is pretty durable. The tread holds up well after hundreds of miles of non-pavement walking, and the uppers remain waterproof even after showing signs of wear and creasing.Mine fit true to size, with a wide toe box, and the size/comfort is consistent across every pair.

Replaced crappy hokas and love these.
had to replace some Hokas that I loved the fit on but the soles started separating pretty badly on them with Hoka refusing to honor warranty. Looking for a comfortable pair of shoes (hubby has some foot issues) and decided to try these after reading reviews. He loves them- says they are just as comfortable and made better with a lot less price compared to the over priced Hokas.

Comfy but not suitable for everything
Bought these for a winter trip to Japan (Sapporo and Yamagata). They were comfortable for lots of walking, not too high of an arch. They were fine in snow. They do not breathe, and I was pretty surprised how quickly they got stinky. I'm afraid to wear them around when it's warm. I had no issues with waterproofness, but also didn't try to submerge my foot in water.Shockingly, they're terrible on ice. I have no idea why, the rubber seems soft enough, the tread even has little nubs. I've lived in Colorado for decades and am very familiar with walking on snow and ice and these are not for ice in any way.Other than the lack of breathability, I do think they'd make great hiking shoes.

Great hiking shoes! Make then more durabable....
Great hiking shoe, fits a little big, would suggest getting a size smaller than you normally do. Comfortable, they do well on the trail. They are a little slippery on wet rocks. Overall, great shoe. I'm not sure if I would repurchase them, because I do much hiking and these shoes have already started coming apart. BUMMER! Come on, Keen, make us a hiking shoe that will last more than 6 hikes.

Chinese junk
Seems like they just took Chinese junk and put their name on it. Shoes fell apart in a couple of weeks of use..comfortable but noway these are worth the money..won't buy again..

Run Very Small
Disappointed that they run a full size small for me. Three stars as they look and seem to be a nice shoe.

Amy - favorite shoe
This is my third pair of these shoes. Waterproof is fantastic so I can wear them in winter (although not insulated), they are good at not getting wet inside. I have also worn them backpacking in hot weather for a few days in the woods and they were perfect for that as well. My feet were warm but definitely workable. I love them. Fit was good and I like to go half size up just for room in toe but not too much so it doesn't jam down in there on hills.
