Very good and comfortable shoes
These boots kept my kids feet dry even on the craziest hikes. He says they are extremely warm and dry. We have taken them up many mountains and have no complaints. As far as we can tell they are extremely durable.
1 month update: THESE BOOTS STRETCH OUT A LOT! I love these boots. I needed waterproof boots that were light weight with support and I these boots nailed it! They are easy to put on and take off, I only ever have to do the velco strap. I've tested the waterproof-ness crossing our creek and stepping in a muddy hole. I wear an adult 5-5.5 normally. The 3 was too short, so I exchanged for the 4 it's roomy in the foot box, which I'm finding comfortable with thick or thin socks all day long. Oh ya and the price is great too!
Keen has the only shoes, sandals and boots that fit my narrow heel and wide toes. Not only do these boots look great, but they also are super comfortable. I haven't yet worn them in snow, so I cannot speak to how waterproof they are, but I am loving the warmth, comfort and style.Yes, I am an adult, but happily fit into the "Big Kid" range with KEEN! Why are the color choices for the Keen Lady sizes so... 'feminine'? Some of us ladies enjoy robust or darker colors, so, its great to be in a "Big Kid" category where boys and girls can enjoy the same wonderful color choices.I did need to insert foam arch supports, but not everyone would need this and the shoes easily accommodated that.
The boots are sturdy and well made. I thought that some added comfort was needed, and I added supportive wool liners.
Works well for our child in the snow so far this winter! No issues walking and true to size.
They were a little stiff the first 2-3 times my 3 year old put them on, but he got the hang of it and they do a great job keeping his feet dry and warm. He went sledding on a sub-freezing day for 2 hours and when he got home I helped him undress and his toes were perfectly warm and dry. Great quality, great look, easy for him to take on and off.
